There are four shades in this display, and each one has a different shade of brightener on the opposite end of the liner (so four different liners and four different brighteners):

I'm excited to try these--how about you? Have you spotted these in your area yet? Thoughts? And don't forget: if you spot these are Rite Aid this week (through 5/11) all Revlon cosmetics and beauty tools are 40% off!
Thanks again, Pam, for the great sighting and pics!
I like the concept.. especially with the coordinating highlighter.. but would have preferred it much more if these were a waterproof liner instead of old-fashion kohl.
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing, I am so excited to try these! If "unknown" is correct then why does it say it's for wearing on the inner rim, if it's not waterproof? Hmmm interested in seeing a review in the upcoming days/weeks to see how people like these.
ReplyDeleteI don't know anyone with a mauve waterline. >_> Or a gold one, at that. Revlon, what are you doing?
ReplyDeleteI notice Revlon likes to discontinue a lot of product lines to make way to new stuff which aren't necessarily good. First the Revlon Colorstay Foundation (well they changed the formula), then the Colorburst lipsticks, then the Grow luscious liner and now the Super lustrous lip glosses. Hope they don't cut the Colorburst lip glosses.
ReplyDeleteThey changed the formula of Colorstay? Oh, no. That was my go-to, but I needed to get a little more budget friendly over the winter. I took advantage of a sale on L'oreal True Match, and I'm not a fan. I was set to go back to Colorstay. Bleah.
DeleteYeah they did, it's so thin and sheer-hardly covers up anything. You better stock up cause i think you guys will get the pump bottle soon.
DeleteBlue Nile is looks cool! I hope to see them soon! Also, I hope you swatch them G.! Thanks.
ReplyDeletePicked up the colors (blue, green, purple) today since they are 40% off at Rite Aid. First impression is that both the lighter and darker colors are very pigmented but quite "stiff" in application... dry yet smooth if that makes sense, and a bit of work to apply you have to go over the line a few times to get a solid full color application. Rub test on swatches.. they do rub off but not immediately, held on pretty well for a kohl. Tossed on a little in my inner corner and waterline, still there and in good shape after a couple of hours which surprised me, they had not moved or faded at all. Comfortable to wear, no irritation or sticky feel. If you like kohl or have super sensitive eyes you will like these, if you normally wear a waterproof gel type liner you will be disappointed. I think from the limited amount of time I've had them on they will fade rather than run or smear due to their dryer texture. The dual colors are nice, each color has it's own unique highlight shade and they coordinate well together. The purple in particular is a nice color, a true royal purple that does not lean blue or pink which can be hard to find.. and I'm also happy to see the hunter green, it's hard to find a nice dark green liner, so many are grass green or teal.
