For many years now (since 2008, at least), Essie has released a collection of "summer neons" each summer. This year's summer neons have just hit Rite Aid and reader Elisa was nice enough to share some pics with us. Take a peek:

I am such a sucker for neon greens and purples...I'm afraid I kind of need those two! Have any of you spotted this display in stores yet (or an expanded display that features all six shades)? Thoughts?
The bottles in this particular display are NOT in the correct slots. There are only six shades in the Essie 2013 Neon Collection and, as you can see above, the purple shade is hiding out in the back. I don't know why there are white polishes in this display (there's no designated slot for them). Maybe they're being offer as an under-coat....
UPDATE: Big thanks to reader Abbie for the following pics. Abbie spotted the full display with all six shades at Rite Aid and was nice enough to share:

The correct names:

Saturday Disco Fever, Bottle Service, Boom Boom Room

Boom Boom Room, Shake Your $$ Maker, Bouncer It's Me!
Hiding in the back (purple shade): DJ Play That Song
Thanks so much, Elisa and Abbie, for the great sighting and pics!
That green is fabulous. I have a slight addiction to Essie's greens! Can't wait to get my hands on these

ReplyDeleteTotally in love with the purple and green. Will definitely need to pick these up!
ReplyDeleteSo, so I don't LOVE Essie, but I do love all these colors!! I hate the fact that I will probably need to buy them all :)
ReplyDeleteI love all of these neon shades
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! All the new drugstore collections are so exciting! Going to wait on reviews and swatches around the web before I purchase (essie IS sort of pricey for me).
ReplyDeleteI love Essie polishes too and it hurts when i pay $8!! you can find them cheaper online! try transdesign.com I've been buying some of my polishes there...
Deleteyou can buy them online for cheaper, you just have to look for the right site
DeleteLove that purple - I'll be on the lookout for these. Thanks for posting!
ReplyDeleteLet the hunt begin for that purple!!!!
ReplyDelete*raises hand* Hi. I am the crazy, OCD lady what would have to totally fix that Rite Aid display before she could browse it and decide just how many she would buy.
ReplyDeleteThat was my exact thought when I saw it, I want to organize it lol
Delete'Bouncer It's Me!' is the nail color of my dreams!!!! SOOO excited to look for this!!
ReplyDeleteThat blue is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteBouncer It's Me! looks very similar to Sinful's Endless Blue. I'd love to see a comparison, because if it's not a dupe, I need it.
ReplyDeleteah! i need boom boom room!
ReplyDeleteThe white makes me think these might be like the poppy-razzi collection of last year. I'll have to wait and see if anyone mentions these are neon jellies.
ReplyDeleteThe color for the white is Essie's Blanc and it is supposed to be a base nail color where you overlay the neon on top to make it pop. It sells for $3 a bottle where I'm from, Austin, TX.
ReplyDeleteThe blue in person looks a lot like Revlon royal. If you have revlon royal I would pass on the Essie one.
ReplyDelete*Note what the display is saying about using white nail polish to make "your neon manicure pop"
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to get my hands on these!!! ^-^
