If you caught my post yesterday, you know that some of the Spring 2013 products from Milani are already starting to hit stores. Well reader Klary, who spotted the new Color Statement lipsticks, also just spotted the new Ultrafine Liquid Eye Liners at her local HEB (regional chain) and was kind enough to share:

New Milani Ultrafine Liquid Eye Liners
The reason why I'm so ridiculously excited about these new liners is because they have a fine felt-tip applicator (I'm not a huge fan of brushes). I looove felt-tip liners and I think Milani (and their sister company Jordana) make some of the very best that you can find at the drugstore. So I have very, very high hopes for these. And oh, did I mention that they're waterproof and that most of them are shimmery? Fun!
Keep reading for pics of the display and shade names...

There are five shades in this display, and with the exception of Black Vinyl, they all seem to contain fine sparkle/shimmer:

Here's a close-up of Black Gems:

The only shade in this display that is not shimmery (or "Sparkling" as the display indicates) is Black Vinyl, which is a flat black. You can see the shimmer in Black Gems and Prismatic Purple as illustrated on the packaging:

It looks like the fine shimmer in Black Gems is iridescent, while the shimmer in Prismatic Purple may be sliver (of course I'm not sure about that--it just appears that way on the packaging!).

So, what do you think? Are you as excited to try these new liners from Milani as I am? I'd love to hear from you!
Thank you so much, Klary, for the great sighting and pics!
I'm excited! That point looks like it'd give the user lots of control, getting into the inner corners without smudging. I like a very thin, almost tightline in the corners, gradually thickening to a cat eye.
ReplyDeleteJordana InColor FabuLiner is my HG liner because of your review. These look fantastic, and if the color payoff and staying power is anything like their sister company's product, I'm in!
1,2,-,4,5,6...wonder what 3 is. brown maybe?
ReplyDeletethese look AWESOME, i'm hoping they're dupes of UD's 24/7 waterproof liquid liners
ReplyDeleteThey seem to be similar to the Stila liners. I only have 1 UD 24/7 liquid liner (Retrograde, I think, purplely one) and it has a thin brush applicator.
DeleteI'm so excited!! I need to find them ASAP! :D
ReplyDeleteThese look good!I don't know why they didn't keep those LE color play felt tip pens around that they had out a while ago thogh, those were super fine and really pretty colors too.My color play pen is almost empty,so i will be looking forward to these:)
ReplyDeleteI'm excited for these because I'm always looking for a better liquid liner, and so far I haven't found one that I absolutely love yet. I have oily eyelids, one is hooded and the other is a double eyelid, so I need a liner that absolutely does not transfer! The best one for me right now is the L'Oreal Infallible gel liner, but I would like a liquid one because I think they're a little bit easier to use.
ReplyDeletesidenote: I used to live in Texas, and I miss HEB so much!
Ah! I'm Super Excited! Did she find these @ cvs? Maybe I'll check out my local store. :)

ReplyDeleteOh my what HEB is this? I need these :)
ReplyDeleteI gotta get my hands on these!!!!
ReplyDeleteSuper excited! I use the milani eye tech and love it!! So precise and pigmented! Ill def be purchasing these!
ReplyDeleteI wish Milani products were sold in more stores. The only CVS close to me doesn't have much stock and rarely seem to have new products.
ReplyDeleteThese liners look gorgeous though! I can't wait to see swatches.
I would love to see gold or silver in there! I can't wait to get my hands on these! I love the Milani LE pencil (dupe of UD 24/7 liner pencil)
ReplyDeleteShimmer in the purple is blue'ish which creates kind of a duo chrome effect. Kind of awesome
ReplyDeletethese are really good. i bought 3 the other day and tried them. the black is wicked black. vinyl black. it goes on super easy. the only thing is you can't use to heavy a hand or it will peel off. you need evenly distribute the product.
