Moisturizing...jeans?

Now I love a good multi-tasking product as much as the next beauty fiend, but what do you think of this one?

 Wrangler Denim Spa Jeans

Launching in the UK at the end of January, Wrangler has created "the first pair of moisturizing jeans," according to Vogue UK. Priced at £85 (about $135 in the US), they'll be available on Asos.com and will come in three varieties: Aloe Vera, Olive Extract and Smooth Legs (anti-cellulite).

Apparently the effect will last "up to 15 days" but you'll be able to purchase a seperate "reload spray" that will last "between 67 and 95 wears."

What do you think of these new "moisturizing jeans"?

  1. I like the concept of these but for $135, I'd rather just buy lotion.

  2. Interesting idea but I can't say I don't find it ridiculous. That's what lotion is for!

  3. A few years ago I read that in Japan, moisturizing tights were available, and they were developing tights with mosquito repellent and sunscreen also. Moisturizing tights make more sense than jeans.

  4. That sounds totally gross to me. Just another gimmick to sell expensive jeans to crazy women.

  5. So... what??? Do you have to wear them every day? I think I will pass!

  6. Yeah...no thanks, haha. This just seems gimmicky to me.

  7. Those are just like the socks you can get that are supposed to be infused with aloe vera and vitamin E. I think its silly though, why not just buy lotion?

  8. I have to agree with the first comment! I think it's honestly a great idea because I am sometimes rushing and forget lotion, but for $135, I will just take a few minutes to apply some lotion. LOL!

  9. My boyfriend said, "You can give me a dollar everyday & I'll moisturize your legs for you" .. lol!

    1. LMAO! Moisturizing jeans sound too weird to me. I'll ask my husband what he thinks of this idea though ;-)

  10. That is ridiculous. It's so ridiculous I almost feel insulted that they think I would buy it! :P

  11. Too funny! Way too much $ and wouldn't they feel kind of sticky on your skin?
No thank you! I'll also just go with lotion.

  12. I don't get the point of buying the jeans and having the moisturizing effect only work for 15 days, and then you have to buy a reload spray. If it's only going to be 15 days of use, the reload spray should come with them, especially at $135 a pop.

  14. Moist and jeans don't sound right together.

  15. I actually heard it wasn't for just 15 days...it was 4-6 washes. So depending on how often you wash your jeans (I don't wash mine often to preserve the fit and the wash), it's expensive, but not as expensive as it sounds.

  16. It would make more sense to buy the spray and spray it on jeans u already have.

  17. So what happens when you wash them? Or if you live in a humid environment? I have this horrible image of myself walking around in our lovely Florida swampiness with moisturizing goo running down my legs inside my jeans! haha

  18. This sounds gross. I don't want them. I don't want to be friends with women who wear them. #kidding However, if my friend was wearing them, she could not get in my car. Yuck!

  19. I had moisturizing cuddle- dud pjs someone bought me for Christmas axfew years ago.. a tank top and thermal pants- the fabric itself was soft and comfy but I can't say I noticed any skin moisturizing..

As far as the jeans go, if they fit amazingly, I'd spend $135 but I wouldn't buy them just as a gimmick bc they moisturize!! Plus who knows what kind of chemicals your smothering your skin in all day?!?
