Have you tried the new Bath & Body Works Forever Red?

Bath & Body Works Forever Red

I don't think I've ever seen as much press for a Bath & Body Works fragrance as I've seen for the new Forever Red (currently on sale in mini edp for $5,  0.25 oz).  Not only does B&BW have an entire page devoted to this fragrance, but there are also several videos available for viewing online.

Here's one of them:

Here's how B&BW describes this new fragrance:

A touch of red is pure magic! Enjoy our most luxurious fragrance ever, as you lavishly spray on a passionate blend of pomegranate & red osmanthus with a sexy surprise of vanilla rum, for a forever enchanting way to fragrance.
  • Top Notes: Fiery Pomegranate, Rare French Peach, Luminous Apple
  • Mid Notes: Red Peony, Night Marigold, Red Osmanthus
  • Dry Notes: Rich Vanilla Rum, Velvety Marshmallow, Oak Wood

If you have already had the chance to try this fragrance at your local B&BW (or you've already purchased it online) I would absolutely love to know what you of it! I can't wait to try it out for myself (I'll definitely review if when I do).

  1. I ADORE it! I picked it up yesterday off the super cute display and have definitely been spraying it a little more than needed! It's living up to the hype for me! So excited to see the whole line!

  2. I smelled it at the store! I liked it but i thought it smelled a whole lot like Be Enchanted and Pink Chiffon, like a mix? Those two are my favorites though! I think I'll buy the $5 spray next time I'm in there. All the associates have to start wearing red every day they said :)

  3. I must have been under a rock, because I had not heard about BBW's new Forever Red. I stumbled across it just yesterday when I went in to get the 2 for $20 candles. I sniffed it on a tester card and liked the scent but wasn't sure how my body chemistry would combine with it. However, I took the chance because, it was only $5. I wore it today for the first time, to church. Most important, it did not give me a headache. LOL! Before leaving home and while sitting in church, I was trying to decide. It has a warm scent (if that makes any sense). It's definitely a more fall/winter (heavier) scent. My normal scent of choice is softer-Philosophy
Pure Grace. Overall, I like it.

  4. I just purchased this at my local B&BW this weekend, and I have to say that I really like the scent! You really have to try it in the store though, because it does smell differently on every person that tries it on. I quite enjoy the scent though, and I can't wait for the other products in this scent to come out! :)

  5. I smelled this the other day at Bath & body Works, & honestly I thought it was just ok, I can't see what the hype is all about.

  6. I've got a friend who works there, and she got one and let me try it. I thought it was very nice, it wasn't overpowering or anything. The only downside was that for me it didn't last very long, so I won't be buying my own.

  7. I bought it the other night and I absolutely love it!! It's so nice to see them finally release a scent that doesn't smell like something they already have.

  8. went in for the 2 for $20 candles and they were definitely trying to sell it a lot. like the user above, it does smell like some of the other body splash scents from bath and body works like pink chiffon- but it mostly smells like a scent by victoria's secret. I can't put my finger on which one!

not bad, but not enough to get me to buy it. for $5 it was a steal though.

  9. Like other commenters, I hadn't heard anything about it. I went in and saw the display, spritzed it, and was impressed with the pomegranate smell. I tossed it in my bag and since it was only $5 I decided to buy it when I was checking out. I'm not sure if I'll like it as a fragrance but I'm sure I can find some use for it even if I don't.

  10. I saw the display at the store the other day. The packaging is cute, reminds me of the victorias secret very sexy mini bottle. Its smelled alright but I didn't like it enough to buy it and my bf hated it

  11. To be honest, it smells kind of gross and cheap. It starts out really lovely, but the "base notes" are terrible and smell like every single Victoria's Secret EDT on the market. I was really pretty sad about it. If I was gonna spend the "higher price" on this, I'd rather just spend it on a better perfume at a department store.

  12. I hadn't heard about it until I was in the store. It really isn't that good I thought. Maybe I'm too cheap but I didn't pick it up because it was like a delux sample and it was $5...had I liked it I maybe would have bought it to see with my body how it worked but It definatly reminds me of a lot of VS body sprays which I have all the ones I want (really good sale lol) in fact it was 6 for $35 and get the 7th free so $5 each! It was last Friday so I would see if its still going on :)

  13. I got the little $5 sampler. It's so cute and I do like the fragrance. I don't usually like peach but they paired it with vanilla in the right way. It's definitely feminine.

  14. Just went in today coincidentally, to pick up some of the small body sprays in the new fall/xmas scents.. got a tester card of it. Very fruity. It drove my nose crazy though so I passed on the sample bottle. Itched/sneezed for at least an hour. Thank heavens they did not spray it on me. Odd because BBW scents do not usually bother me, thus the reason I shop there.

  15. Hi G.! I stopped in to sample it--thought it was nice but reminded me a lot of Twlight Woods (which I already have)so I didn't see a big point to purchase.

  16. I didn't care for it at all. As has been stated above, I thought the scent reminded me of every other VS body splash offered. I couldn't pinpoint which one, but that was my overriding thought. I skipped this one.

  17. Lol, Am I the only one who thinks that the spray shots in the vid look like a slo-mo sneeze? I agree w T.Lilian.N above, it does bring to mind VS Very Sexy.
