The Weekly Drugstore Makeup Sales (9/9 - 9/15)

Sorry for these last-minute Sunday newspaper updates, but they're worth mentioning in case you already have the Sunday paper lying around the house (or maybe a family member, friend or neighbor has one that they'll let you pilfer!)
  • In certain regions of the US, in today's newspaper (9/9), there is a $5 off any Revlon foundation, powder, primer, blush or concealer coupon. This coupon is in the Smart Source coupon insert, and it may not be available in all regions of the US. But since it's a rare, high value coupon, it's worth looking for today in your local newspaper, especially to go along with the Revlon sales this week (below).
  • Also, thanks to reader @rollingindadiep for the heads-up that in the Sunday 9/9 Red Plum insert (again, available in certain newspapers and regions) there's a $1 off any Wet n Wild Nail Color coupon that you can use with any of the three WnW sales this week.

PRINTABLE BEAUTY COUPONS

NOTE: not only can you use these coupons at your local drugstores, Target, etc. But as of September 1st, Dollar Tree now accepts manufacturer's coupons. Yes, it's true. I always see Maybelline lip colors at my Dollar Tree, so with the coupon below, you'll get one FREE (before tax).

CVS shoppers: I'm going to keep this short and sweet: CVS is the place to be this week if you want Revlon cosmetics, and there's also a good deal on Wet n Wild Fergie nail polish (see sales below). Also, Extra Care members, don't forget that you can DOUBLE your Quarterly Extra Bucks just by clicking here.

Rite Aid shoppers: Good deal on Wet n Wild (see below). And there's a Video Values coupon for $2 off a Revlon Lip Butter that you can use if you're going to take advantage of the Revlon sale this week (details below). Also, if you color your own hair and you use L'Oreal Feria or Sublime Mousse, you'll want to clip the coupon in this week's Rite Aid circular. Because not only will you get 2/$12.98, but you also get $5+UP when you buy 2.  Click here for an important change to the Wellness+ program in case you missed it.  Also, if you haven't heard about the Glam Camp promotion, you do not want to miss out on this one. And don't forget to check out the September Video Values coupons, which can be stacked with manufacturer's coupons for even more savings.

Walgreens shoppers: Wet n Wild Megalast and Fastdry nail polishes are $1.49 this week! And WOW: select Lumene skincare is BOGOFREE. I highly recommend this and this, if you're looking for some ideas. Seriously, you rarely, if ever, see a BOGOFREE on this line, so stock up while you can. Also, the new Bioinfusion haircare is BOGOFREE too; if you've tried anything from this new Walgreens brand line, please let us know your thoughts (the ingredients look good and I think I'm going to pick some things up for a future review). And thanks to reader Caroline for confirming that the EcoTools $9.99 6-piece brush set is a MegaSaver sale, which means it runs all month (through 9/29). Click here for an important update regarding the new Walgreens rewards program, in case you missed it.

  3. I know everyone knows that Rite Aid has changed their rewards program recently, I was excited to have my +UP rewards loaded on my card but I found out today that you this also means you cannot use the reward dollars the same day you get them. You now have to wait until the following day! This is a huge bummer for me as my nearest Rite Aid is a 30 min. drive :((

    1. There's a link in the ”rite aid shoppers” section of this post where the changes are discussed....let's just say a lot of us aren't happy about the next-day rewards. :(

  4. The coupon magazine/book that has the $5 off revelon is smartsource which comes in the san diego union tribune. It also has $2 off revlon nail art moon candy or french mix and $2 off 2 almay and it ALSO has neutrogena coupons worth $10.50 from the ultra gentle daily cleanser to the rapid tone repair.

    1. Yep, I mentioned that it's the smart source insert above, But thank you for listing the coupons that were featured in the San Diego edition! We got tons of good ones this week! I really wish all regions got the same ones all the time...it would make things so much easier on this blog! Lol!

PS: and don't forget about the Red Plum insert that comes in the mail for us along with the penny saver (on thurs I believe). That has really good coupons too! :) we're so lucky we get it free in the mail every week....most regions get it in the Sunday paper. Go San Diego!!

I get the red plum too and the sdut paper but i am not as lucky as u G. I live in the desert valley...so we dont have a cvs =( and i dont have a wide variety of rite aids and wags to hunt in like u either. But i do go to sd often enough (used to even more when gas was cheap in order to get out of the heat in the summer). Thanks for the heads up w all these savings! =)

    1. Lol! Sometimes if you go to a 7-11 or local gas station early in the morning on Monday, they'll have one or two Sunday editions leftover. Worth a shot! ;)

  11. Your blog is a Monday must for me! I have to come here every Monday to find out where all the sales are. I have recently decided that I will start glaming myself up more. I have tons and tons of makeup but didn't have much time to use it. So now I'm making the time. It's been a week and I forgot how great it made me feel. So I'm treating myself to some eyeshadows and thanks to you I have all the great deals!!

  12. Hi G,

This question really doesn't have anything to do with sales today, exactly, but then again, maybe it doe. I bought a bottle of Maybelline Color Show polish Style Icon (I think it's LE, not sure). Anyway, do you know how the finish is supposed to dry? I looks close to matte on me; I think it's really pretty, but just want to be sure i didn't get a bad bottle. Thanks!

  13. I've been using the Bioinfusion leave in conditioner... can't remember the exact name. But I LOVE IT!!! Been using it for about a week. I bought it simply for the smell. :) But I love the way it makes my hair feel, without weighing it down. And the smell. YUM. It's that kind of scent you have when you leave the salon. One that sticks with you! Everytime I turn my hair, I catch a whiff. LOVE IT! And so does my hubby.

  14. This might be the week I try the Revlon Colorstay cream foundation! I will have to bug my boyfriend's parents to see if they threw out their newspaper from yesterday yet, hopefully not! I was over there yesterday thumbing through the ads, and I seriously debated raiding their coupon inserts, but I wondered if that would seem tacky. I'm over it now, I know they don't use the coupons and if there's a $5 off one sitting in there- I want it!

  15. Not only is the Wet N Wild Fergie polish on sale for $1.99 at CVS this week like you said (although not listed in the flyer, OR labeled on the shelf, it WILL ring up as this). There is ALSO a manufacturer's coupon in the Sunday paper for $1 off WNW Fergie polishes :) Just got the stars one for $1.05 w/tax!

  16. I gotta ask, because I've never seen Lumene in a Walgreen's (and I've looked!) but is there some way to know which stores carry this line? I love their product & would hate to miss this deal!

  17. I look forward to reading these posts! I snagged the new Revlon whipped foundation for $1.06 (with tax)!! I asked a lady at CVS who had a binder full of coupons if she had a Revlon coupon she wasn't using and she generously offered me one (out of a sizable stack). Plus with a few ExtraBucks I had lying around :)
