What's the one drugstore product you love the most out of all the products you've purchased so far this year?
Why do I ask questions that I myself have a hard time answering?? Even though I absolutely love so many products I've purchased this year (Revlon Balm Stains immediately come to mind), I'm going to have to say that so far this year, I am absolutely head-over-heels in love with NYC Peach Sparkle. I have had it as my Facebook cover photo for weeks now (I can't bear to change it) and I even begged asked NYC on their Facebook page if they would please consider making it part of their permanent collection. I just can't accept the fact that it's limited edition and will be gone forever.
Lucky you that you got Peach Sparkle! There are no Rite-Aids in my area, so I'll never know how pretty it truly is!! :(
ReplyDeleteEssie's Penny Talk! Talk about wishing they make a polish permanent! LOVE THIS COLOR! -Leslie
ReplyDeleteI'd have to say the L'Oreal Infallible shadows. I just can't get enough of them (esp.when on sale). I have 13 out of the 18 shades currently out and plan on stopping at walgreens tonight to get a couple with my coupons :) I'm wearing smolerding plum and amber rush today.
ReplyDeleteI would say Revlon Balm Stains are huge for me, such great, wearable colors. I have about a billion more, but I'm brain dead right now--- lol :)
ReplyDeleteI'm currently wearing it too and can't stop looking at them, it's a great color all around and is quite complementing with my skintone which is slightly yellow.

ReplyDeleteBurt's bee lip balm. I swear my lips chap more in summer than winter, it's crazy!
ReplyDeleteI also love the L'Oreal Infallible eye shadows. They wear crazy well.
ReplyDeleteG, I wanted to say that I picked up the NYC Big Bold Mascara, per your recommendation. Although I do like it, I wish I loved it as much as you do! It's such a wet formula...and it doesn't curl my lashes like it does yours. But I do like that it holds my curl pretty well.
I think I'm going to have to say the L'Oreal Infallible shadows also. Such pretty colors, great pigmentation, very nice texture/finish...just gorgeous! I don't have all of them but I would like to pick up a few more, especially Amber Rush.
ReplyDeleteHmn, I've gotten a lot of great drugstore things lately but I think my biggest surprise/hit has been the Almay powder blushes. I got 2 on clearance at CVS and one at Big Lots. They have a great formula and very wearable colors. I hope they are just getting rid of them to roll out new packaging...
ReplyDeleteI picked up a blush and a bronzer as well on clearance.. and they are wonderful. Wonder why no one ever talks about them..
DeleteRevlon Lip Butter in Berry Smoothie! Used it completely up! Time for tube number 2!

ReplyDeleteDefinitely Revlon Colorstay Whipped Creme Foundation. My new holy grail liquid foundation!
ReplyDeleteMaybelline Lots o' Lashes! That pink brush is marvelous.
ReplyDeleteNew for this year.. I would have to say the Loreal skin beautifier BB in fair. It's so nice to have a product that is so lightweight that I can actually wear with my oily skin, that makes such a difference. I have worn it almost everyday since I bought it... and I have a foundation I love, it's just so easy to toss the BB on, no blending necessary. An honorable mention would be the Milani shadoweyez pencil in Champagne Toast. It the perfect "I'm in a rush but need something on my eyes" product. I was extra sleepy this morning and forgot to put on my eye primer, usually the kiss of death for my shadow.. I'm lucky to get two hours without creasing and fading, but it's still there and looks just like it did when I put it on, even after working in my barn in 90 degree heat.
ReplyDeleteColor tatoos def. They are wonderful! Cant pick just one color tho, love them all!
ReplyDeleteMaybelline Color Tattoo in Tough as Taupe.
ReplyDeleteThis year? That's a toughie. I'm really loving the Braun Silk Epil 7 I just got. My skin is too sensitive for shaving and I am too wimpy for waxing, and this product is amazing! Minimal pain, and my legs are super smooth!
ReplyDeleteRevlon balm stains!
ReplyDeleteThe CeraVe AM cream with SPF30 and ceramides. It moisturizes my face so well, but doesn't leave it greasy at all. And the SPF is high enough for me not to worry, even though I live in Florida, because I spend zero time in the sun in summer, other than going to and coming from the car. I do use it when in the car, though. Oh, and it's gentle enough for my slight case of roseacea.
ReplyDeleteRevlon ColorStay Nail Enamel - Cayenne
ReplyDeleteI actually just purchased it during the CVS sale this week. It is so pretty. I saw a car the same color yesterday. I think it is an all-year color.
This is an easy one for me - the revlon balm stains!
ReplyDeleteI love the NYC Matte Me Crazy. It is an awesome glitter top coat, smooths glitter right out, then just add regular top coat for shine. It works great as a basecoat for my Nubar Reclaim, the only linear holographic I currently have. Wanted to buy more when the 40% sale was on, but every Rite Aid was sold out of it!
ReplyDeleteCovergirl Lashblast Volume! I know it's not new, but it's the first time I have tried it, and I am super-impressed! I also really love the Revlon Balm stains. They are so great in the summer, because they don't melt like a lipstick. Love it!
ReplyDeleteBadger Cocoa Butter Lip Balm, hands down.
ReplyDeletedoes shampoo count: Suave Keratin shampoo and condtioner, amazing
ReplyDeleteI can't choose one!!!! I LOVE the L'Oreal Infallible shadows. I use iced latte exclusively as my highlighter. Literally nothing else compares. I also can't get enough of my Revlon Colorstay overtime. When I have just the stain on, I can kiss my bf to no end, and it doesn't come off of me, or more importantly, it doesn't get on him! I need to get other colors, but the color I have now-Perennial Plum--goes with nearly everything.
