Happy Cinco de Mayo week! Be sure to read the following highlights before you scroll to the listings because there are lots of great ways to save at all three drugstores this week!
CVS shoppers: Essence of Beauty cosmetics accessories (including brushes) are B2G1FREE this week. EoB brushes don't go on sale too often, so it's a great time to stock up or try some new brushes. Speaking of stocking up, if you're a Maybelline Color Tattoo fan, it might be a good week to stock up since you can spend $15 on Maybelline face, eye or lip cosmetics and get $5 back in Extra Bucks. Since Color Tattoos are around $7.39 a piece, buy 2 and, after rewards, your final price breaks down to around $4.89 each (even less if you have coupons!).
Rite Aid shoppers: Lots of fun +UP opportunities this week. If you buy three Sinful Colors, Jesse's Girl, CQ, Petites, Color Fever, Brucci or Chameleon nail polishes, you get $3 back in +UP. Let's say you buy three Sinful Colors polishes: your total goes from $5.79 to $2.79 after rewards, which breaks down to $0.99 per bottle. The limit is 2 on this deal, so that means you can get 6 polishes with $6 back in +UP. And guess how you can spend that $6 in +UP? Well for starters, all Almay eye cosmetics are on sale this week for $5.99. Also, Maybelline Color Sensational lip colors, Volum' Express mascaras and Liner Express liners are on sale this week for $5 each. If you scored any of the $1 off Maybelline tear-pad coupons from the LE displays, your total goes down to $4! Also, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear polishes are 2/$5 with $1 +UP. And let's not forget that all Revlon cosmetics are BOGO1/2OFF and when you spend $10 you get $4 back in +UP.
Walgreens shoppers: It's been a while since Walgreens did one of their half-off sales, so I'm happy to tell you that this week all Rimmel foundations, powders, primers, bronzers, eye cosmetics and nail colors are 50% off. AND, if you haven't already printed the Rimmel coupons over on Red Plum, you're looking at an even better deal (if your store accepts these coupons--some stores don't, so be sure to ask before you buy). Click here for $1 off Rimmel face, eye or nail coupon, click here for $1 off any Rimmel cosmetic coupon. and click here for ANOTHER $1 off any Rimmel cosmetic coupon. Score! And if you missed my post from earlier this week, starting Sunday (4/29) and running through May 26th, Wet n Wild products with a regular retail price of $1.99 are on sale for $0.99 each. Click here for details and a pic of the display.

OMG!!!!!!! I wish we had sales like these in Australia!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI wish you did too!
DeleteI just discovered your blog, and I LOVE it! Thank you! :-)
ReplyDeletewelcome! And thanks so much for reading!
DeleteCan you stack all three of the Rimmel coupons for one purchase?
ReplyDeletethese are all manufacturers coupons, so you cannot stack them for the purchase of 1 item.
Deletethanks!
DeleteJumped on the Wags Rimmel sale first thing this morning. Printed a ton of coupons.. bought 11 items, spent $22 including tax, saved almost $50.
ReplyDeleteawesome! :)
Deletei got Rimmel as soon as they opened. the revlon nail polish was marked as buy 1 get 1 %50 off, but when i got home and looked at the recipt they never gave me the %50 off the one nail polish
ReplyDeletegot "rags to riches" by rimmel. i got 2 revlon polishes that were marked buy 1 get 1 %50 off, but when i got home and looked at my recipt, i never got %50 off one
ReplyDeletetake it back, with your receipt, and ask for a price adjustment.
DeleteI used to coupon full time, although now I just use my skills to further enable my makeup addition, lol. It's a good habit to keep an eye on the register while the items/coupons are being scanned... although some systems do apply the deductions at the end of the transaction. Then always review your receipt before you leave the store, or in the car, that way you can address any issues immediately. Again, watch for those "end of transaction" adjustments. Also check to see any coupons where they have to manually enter the amount of the deduction (common to BOGO Q's) have had a correct amount deducted. Several times I have had a clerk just enter anything, sometimes several dollars too little or too much, out of laziness. Another good habit is to group your items for checkout if they rely on each other for a sale, makes it a lot easier to keep track during the process and/or find them on the receipt. Always be polite, and do not be afraid to speak to a manager if the clerk gives you problems or refuses to fix an issue. It is also a great idea to print off the coupon policy for your favorite stores and keep them in your glove box, you never know when you might need them.
DeleteRE: Rimmel Coupons and Walgreens overlapping sales
ReplyDeleteOn Saturday night I used the generic redplum.com link which had only (2) of the (3) Rimmel coupons you listed above; I was able to print (2) of each. Then on Sunday, after you provided direct links to all (3) Rimmel coupons, I was able to print (2) of each (which included the same (2) I'd printed the night before). So, I ended up with (10) coupons. I don't know if they reset overnight or if using both links allows you to print more.
Also on Saturday night I went to Walgreens to buy Rimmel, because my store had already turned on the next day's ad. I wanted to be able to have a good selection AND I wanted to see if I could take advantage of two sales working at the same time (the April MegaSaver sale of BOGO 50% Rimmel and the 4/29 weekly sale of BOGO). It worked beautifully: all Rimmel rang up 50% off the original prices and the second of each set deducted an extra 50% off (making it 75% off). So, I got $4.49 nail polish for $2.24 + $2.24 - $1.12 (50% off the second one) - (2) $1 coupons = $1.36/2 (or $0.68 each).
It's always good to be aware of possible overlapping deals, so you can try them out on Saturdays (if your store turns on the ad early). If you haven't done so already, you should sign up at Walgreens.com to receive sale ad previews via email. (I would have posted this deal that night, but figured it wouldn't be approved until it was too late to benefit anyone.)
Hi there! I'm a longtime reader and first time commenter. I absolutely love your blog.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to mention that I just got back from a trip to CVS and used my ECC at the coupon printer and it gave me one for $7 off any Physician's Formula cosmetic item. I also saw that the new-ish Soho brushes were 50% off. I thought I'd pass the info along :)
Also at Walgreens.... The got2b such as the powderful or dry shampoos, are BOGO free! -katbasco
ReplyDeleteThere are new coupons on Coupons.com for $1 off maybelline color tattoos cream gel shadow. Think its a better deal at cvs with $15 get $5 or at rite aid BOG1 50% off??
ReplyDeleteI just did a blog post about this, and answered your question! Thanks so much. xo

ReplyDeleteMade out like a bandit Sunday at Wags, but was totally off my game today at CVS. Messed up the maybelline deal... didn't check the limit, so my plan was a bust, wound up spending more than I planned...plus they didn't have anything I had on my radar to buy... I was so frustrated I didn't even bother to spend my ECB, just left and decided to try on a better day. I did leave a color tattoo Q for somebody, so maybe it will make their day.
ReplyDeleteThe Rimmel coupons reset for me, but only the first two are still available; I got another 2 prints from each. I printed 2 sets of each on Saturday (2), Sunday (3), and Wednesday (2), all from this computer (14 in total). Usually they reset at the beginning of the month, so I can't explain this (are they resetting daily?).
ReplyDeleteI printed mine very early Sunday morning... and was shocked because I got 3 of one, 3 of another, and 5 of the last one. I was beginning to wonder if that last one was ever going to stop, lol. They must have extras or something. Their eyeshadows have gotten a bad rap, but I bought several of the quads and have been loving them, just put a base under them (I use color tattoos), they have great colors, blend really well, and last all day. I really like how they are not super shimmery.
DeleteI was able to print (2) more sets today, so I guess I have my answer: they're resetting daily (at least for now).
