With just six hours left to go on the e.l.f. Cyber Monday deal, I wanted to let you all know about a few things that have been brought to my attention in the last few hours. First of all, I read the e.l.f. email incorrectly and the code 55WIDE does not include free shipping. You must enter code SHIP25 to get free shipping on orders over $25, and I don't believe you can stack both codes. But please correct me if I'm wrong!
Also, one of my lovely Twitter followers hit a snag in the 55% code. When she went to check out, she said she had $25 worth of product in her cart. When she entered the code 55WIDE, it deducted $8.25, which is not 55%. It's actually 33.25%. So be careful and double-check the deduction before you pay!
So how many of you took advantage of the Cyber Monday deals today?
I'm glad you posted that thing about the discount calculating wrong.
ReplyDeleteI didn't place an order for Cyber Monday, but I placed an order last week with the 50% off studio items and for some reason I think my total may have been too much. I'm going to double count it when I recieve my shipment :/
One thing I noticed is that the eye palettes are discounted half off and there's a note that they won't be included in the code discount. I had 28 worth of stuff in my cart including the 100 shadow palette for 10 and my discount was $9. Just something to watch out for!
ReplyDeleteI had quite a large order ready to go & the discount was only something like $28.00 off a $97 total. I saw it before I finished the transaction so I cancelled instead. Such a disappointment, not impressed!
ReplyDeleteOh quick amendment, I just read someone else's comment and she is right. The 100 eyeshadow palette is not included in any discount codes so my total was $97 and the discount was $36.85, so that would be about right (as far as I can tell without a calculator).
ReplyDeleteOops my comment should have also said my discount was $9.90, not $9!
ReplyDeletei actually made my first ever ELF order....i'd been pondering a variety of items (mostly brushes) for a month or two and decided that this was worth it.
ReplyDeleteyes, you canNOT stack the coupons. i used 55wide and got $13 and change off my $25 order, which made my total $18 and change with shipping included.
I planned to place an e.l.f order yesterday but I only got and $8.25 discount on my order as well. My order total was $40 which did include the 100 palette but I knew the discount wouldn't apply to that, but I still had $30 worth of merchandise that should've been 55% off and while I'm no math genius, I do know that 55% off $30 is waaaay more than $8 and change. I never completed my order. I'm sure they lost out on sales yesterday because of that kind of glitch.
ReplyDeleteelf only takes 55% off of $25, anything more than that is reg price. so for example if my order is $50, only $25 of the $50 will be 55% off. which sucks because i want 55% off of my ENTIRE order!
ReplyDeleteDid I take advantage of the sale? You bet I did! lol Caught wind of it last week and already got my order yesterday and filmed my haul =O
ReplyDeleteSO super excited! hehe
April, the discount for this one actually goes past the first $25, thankfully! The elf site says maximum discount is $100. I just added the master set to my cart and a few other things, and the total discount was $95.70. I'm wondering if there are other items that are excluded from the discount for whatever reason though.
ReplyDeleteI like-wise, had $25-$28 in my basket, typed in the 55wide coupon code and it $8. Unfortuantely, i don't think that includes everything!
ReplyDeleteThat really sucks that the code was not working correctly for some people. The 55% off discount worked for me, total for me was 72.00 - 39.50 + 6.95 shipping = 39.35. They wouldn't let me use the code for a less than $25 purchase.
