It's that time again! This week's question is one that was very easy for me to answer. Hopefully it will be easy for you to answer as well, because I'd love to see your responses!
What's the one makeup item that you can easily skip in your daily routine?
For me, that would be lip liner. I think lip liner always tends to look a little odd on me, so I very rarely wear it. I usually only wear if it I'm wearing a very bold lip color, like a deep red, and then it's only to help prevent the color from bleeding. So how about you? What's the one product you can skip in a pinch?
Even though u said one makeup item i have two, i would say blush and foundation, i rarely wear them but when i do i still like the way i look but dont have to have them everyday.
ReplyDeleteblush, i guess. i only put it on when i remember. i really like maybelline's dream mousse blush though. the formula is great, and they have such pretty colors.
ReplyDeletei occasionally space out and forget my blush but that's npot what you meant. :) (i really hate it when that happens tho b/c in office lighting i look like a corpse as is from paleness.)
ReplyDeletei often omit lipstick, at least one weekdays, preferring balm, gloss, or stain. i never wear lipliner (even with lipsticks) but that's about it!
I sometimes forgo the mascara (GASP). I have the longest lashes ever (please don't stone me) but I still loved mascara...until I got glasses. Now my mascara would just rub up against the lenses, creating a mess.

I can leave the blush. I'm a brown girl and I just haven't found a flattering way to wear it. I'm not so into the clown look. lol

I'm going to have to be unoriginal and say blush. It definetely does make me look better, but if I had to choose only ONE to get rid of in my daily routine, it would be my blush (although I do love it! I just love everything else more).
ReplyDeleteI don't use a ton of products to begin with, but we'll go with my most recent addition, tinted moisturizer.
ReplyDeleteI actually don't use foundation or concealer, I leave both those things out unless I'm dressing up and need to look really made up.
ReplyDeleteI find that I can skip mascara as long as I use a very dark eyeliner to make up for it. I wear eyeliner daily, so if I'm running late, I figure that I might as well take an extra second to draw a thicker and bolder line.

ReplyDeletei can skip everything! i enjoy wearing makeup and even doing an all-out application with all the stops, but if i'm in a hurry i'll just fill in my brows and put on some mascara. and if i'm in a real hurry, i just run out the door with a "naked" face.
