I've been talking a lot about green eyeshadows lately (one of my many weaknesses) but this news compels me to bring them up again: Beautyticket.com now has Smashbox Smashing Eyeshadow in "Zoom" for $5.99!!!
This color is a very close dupe of the ever-popular MAC Golden Olive Pigment which I love, love, love, love! If you love Golden Olive but don't like the mess of a loose pigment, you must pick up Zoom, which is a stunning medium olive green with golden shimmer (the pic above makes it look a little lighter than it actually is). What I love about this color (and Golden Olive for that matter) is that it's one of the rare greens that can be worn all by itself and not look washed out or too light or too dark. It's one of the most perfect greens I've ever used. Oh and it's gorgeous as a soft liner as well.
Again, if you love Golden Olive but long for the convenience of a pressed eyeshadow, I cannot stress enough how much you should own Zoom. Also, for those who haven't used Smashbox eyeshadows, the pigmentation is great, they blend easily and have great staying power. For $5.99 you simply cannot go wrong. But hurry because I have a feeling this will sell out quickly. Also, if you have hazel eyes and/or red hair, you NEED this :)
PS: My friend and I split another order today (I bought a back-up of Zoom and she bought the Smashbox Lip & Cheek Color in "Tint" which she swears is a good dupe for NARS Orgasm. I wanted to buy "Tint" also, but I'm still perfectly happy with my Black Radiance Sheer Blush in "Soft Honey" and my Prestige Perfectly Fresh Cheek Tint in "Sunny" so congrats to me for resisting temptation for once.)
