It's Back: Whole Foods Beauty Week Starts Wednesday, March 22nd (Details & Sneak Peek at Beauty Bag)

I received some info from Whole Foods about the upcoming Beauty Week, including the 2017 Hello, Beauty Beauty Bag (also, thanks to reader Amanda Fisher for the heads-up today) so I want to be sure you're ready for it!

From Whole Foods:

From March 22 – 28, Whole Foods Market is hosting our third annual “Beauty Week,” which means 25% off all cosmetics and facial care in our stores! (Pro tip: if you’re a fan of Trilogy products, they are an EXTRA 25% off during this time, too!)

On Friday, March 24, we will also be offering a limited edition “hello, beauty” bag while supplies last. It’s a $90 value, but will be sold for $18.

Here’s what’s included in the bag:
  • Acure Pore Clarifying Red Clay Facial Mask (full size!)
  • Andalou Naturals Apricot Probiotic Cleansing Milk
  • Dermae Hydrating Night Creme
  • Dr. Hauschka Facial Toner
  • evanhealy Wild Carrot Nourishing Eye Balm (full size!)
  • Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel Sensitive
  • Mineral Fusion Volumizing Mascara (full size!)
  • Trilogy CoQ10 Booster Oil
  • Pacifica Devocean Tenderness Lipstick (full size!)
  • Weleda Soothing Facial Lotion
  • Whole Foods Market Peony Mint Blackberry Hand Cream (full size!)

Our curated beauty bag is a great choice for those looking to clean up their beauty routine. For clean beauty aficionados and newbies alike, the bag is a perfect way to try products from up-and-coming brands like evanhealy and get your tried-and-true favorites from Dr. Hauschka and Mineral Fusion.

The bag itself is made from organic cotton and handcrafted by talented artisans in India using traditional techniques of dabu indigo mud-printing, power loom weaving and hand-tasseling.

Don’t live near a store? Beauty fans across the USA can enter to win a “hello, beauty” bag by sharing their favorite clean beauty products on Instagram or Twitter using #CleanBeautyFaves starting March 22.

If you're interested in purchasing this year's beauty bag, I strongly suggest getting to your local Whole Foods as early as you can on Friday (click here for a store locator). For the past two years that I've been covering this event, I have heard from readers who were too late and the bag was sold out by the time they got there, but I have also heard from readers who were able to get the bag in the days after the event (meaning, their store had surplus bags). So just to be safe, get there as soon as you can Friday if you really want this one!

  1. I would absolutely love this beauty bag, but the closest Whole Foods is over two hours away. Not going to happen, unfortunately.

  7. This is the first year I'm hearing about this as well. Hope I can snag one on Friday since there's one right near my office!

  8. Last year I was able to pick up the bag and get 25% off too.

  9. I called the two Whole Foods in my area and they told me the additional 25% does not apply to this beauty bag. Also, each store will have 50 of them. I think that's more than last year. Good Luck everyone!

  10. Thanks for the reminder G, but I think I'm passing on this one. You included the contents so I googled the ingredients and I am allergic to ingredients in some of products. The rest don't really interest me enough to try and make it to Whole Foods early. If I am in the store at some point, I'll take a look but right now I'll be skipping.

For me, the 2016 was much better. I missed it on the first day and spent two days looking for it. I only got it because one store couldn't find/misplaced/didn't get their shipment on the first day. A wonderful beauty consultant at another store called and asked them to hold 2 bags for my sister and I. We rushed over and got our bags!

    Good luck to everyone tomorrow!

  12. Thanks for the info! I put this on my calendar and went early.... and they were sold out by 9am - yikes! I managed to get 5 bags (they make great gifts!) I asked if they had more and they said they were holding some for others so maybe if they don't get picked up they will get released....if your store doesn't have any on the floor, it's worth asking if they have any in the back.
The bag is really well made and the hassle is really cute! There's some really fun products in the bag...it makes a great gift!

  13. Aaack, I have a Whole Foods near me but I spent my last few dollars on Tarte Mascara and It Eyebrow pencils at Ulta (two of my holy grails).

  14. Thanks G. Sent the hubby and he scored one at 8 AM for me yesterday. Awesome items. Much better than the Play or Allure box I get monthly.

  15. Thanks for the info! I called my local store the day before to see if they were putting their bags out when the store opened, and the salesperson told me some years they sell out quickly, and some not. I missed it last year (darn you, stuffed email in box!) so I ended up going around 9:15 and the endocarp was full of bags. I had remembered a Whole Foods gift card I had been saving, with a post it note for Evan Healy Neem Immortelle Purifying Infusion, which I ended up buying for my kids. I also bought a bottle of grapeseed oil, as I read on a blog that it's the main ingredient in several pricy oils (just add a drop of essential oil if you wish). Great way to start the day!

  16. Thanks for this info! I missed kit last year (darn you, stuffed inbox!) and wanted to make sure I got one this year. I called my local store the night before, who told me they would be put out at store opening, and it's hard to gauge response. Some years have been more popular than others. I got there around 9:15 and the end cap was full. I had dug up a WF gift card, and also bought Evan Healy Neem Immortelle Purifying Infusion for my teen kids, and a bottle of grapeseed oil, as another blog I read said it cis the base oil for a number of expensive oils. Fun way to start the day!
