Groupon Deal: $40 Voucher for $15 (Use at Ulta, Walgreens, Costco, L'Occitane, and More via Google Express)

Thanks so much to reader @chloe.cosmetics on Instagram for this great tip!

Right now on Groupon HERE, you can purchase a $40 voucher for $15 that you can use via Google Express at Ulta, Walgreens, Costco, L'Occitane, and more (online purchases only; does not apply in-store). IF THAT LINK DOES NOT WORK FOR YOU, once you get to the Groupon page, just search "Google Express" and the deal should pop up. if that STILL doesn't work, try Googling "Groupon Google Express" and it should pop right up. You can also try using code JUMBO3 at checkout for an additional 20% off this voucher (that would bring you down to $12 for a $40 voucher).

This offer is only valid in certain regions of the US, so you need to click HERE and enter your zip code to be sure that Google Express delivers to your area. Also, this offer is only valid for first-time customers of Google Express so if you've purchased things via Google Express in the past, you cannot redeem this voucher.

If you're new to Google Express, it's Google's way to make online purchases from multiple retailers via one site. You must have a Google account to make purchases via Google Express.

I honestly could not remember if I had ever used Google Express before, so when I logged into my Google account (via the Google Express website) and checked my order history, I found that my previous purchases of phone apps from the Google Play Store showed up. But Google Play is not the same as Google Express, so I believe that this does not count as a previous order (Chloe confirmed to me just now that she also has made purchases from the Google Play Store and she was able to use this Google Express voucher for an Ulta purchase. You can see her order confirmation HERE).

I do not claim to know all of the answers about this deal--I'm just passing along as much info as I can. So before you purchase, be sure to check the fine print on both the Groupon page HERE and the help page at Google Express HERE and hopefully you can get the answers you need.

UPDATE: Please be sure to read the comments below for some helpful info and updates thanks to some lovely readers!

Thanks again for the hot tip and additional info about this deal, Chloe! I really appreciate it.

    1. I THOUGHT it was, but maybe not? I thought all orders via Google Express came with overnight shipping (NOT free shipping though). But maybe I'm wrong about that??

  2. One thing to note is that Ulta-via-Google Express does not offer the full range of stuff that Ulta itself offers--for example, I thought I would use this to stock up on my HG hair gel but they don't carry it through Google Express. Not a huge deal, there's still a ton of stuff I can get and $40 for $12 is still an amazing deal, but just be aware that if you have something specific in mind you might not be able to get it. Sign up for Google Express first to check stock!

    3. By late eve of this post they "sold out" of delivery for Ulta in my area...all 3 days they display. I called and they said it happens sometimes. I guess they aren't built up enough to handle all our traffic! Lol. Never heard of a business limiting doing business. I feel like a Shark Tank Shark wouldn't approve! Won't let me spend my $ there. They said to check back Mon when an addt'l delivery day is released.

    2. I tried a few zip codes in FL and Google express doesn't seem to be available yet in Florida. I found this link: https://support.google.com/shoppingexpress/answer/4562192?hl=en&ref_topic=4541627 and that should help people find out what is available in their area. You click your city (Los Angelas or Chicago) and then it'll show you the stores that you can order from in that area.

  28. Just wanted to give you a heads up that your card may be charged for the full amount of your order. I just placed my order on google express with the voucher and on the conformation page it looked as if I would only be charged for $3.67, but it hit may bank for the full amount. Don't know if this is the norm, but just want to make everyone aware.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Just a quick note: it seems like the price isn't immediately reflected when you use the coupon once you check out; I ended up canceling my order thinking the promo code wasn't entered properly only to find out it did and hat I can't use it (since I'm not a "first time user" anymore.) trying to get it straightened out, but just a warning!

  38. Hey G, this could be important for people to know about Google Express:

PO Boxes are probably not eligible for Google Express. It's a delivery service and a personal shopper really. You place your order and a delivery service sends an employee to your store of choice, they shop for you and then deliver it to your door. In south FL there's a company called Shipt (I believe they are a somewhat national company and there are other similar companies too) and here Shipt is working with Publix to offer grocery delivery. The customer places their order for Publix groceries on the Shipt app, an employee of Shipt can view open orders and pick and choose what they want to do, they then drive to the Publix (hopefully they choose a store close to the customer so that cold/frozen products don't melt), purchase the products (Shipt sends employees a reloadable credit card I believe) and then deliver it to the customers front door. I have been delivering prescriptions for a national pharmacy for 6 years now so I looked into applying for Shipt for a second job but I live so far from areas I would be delivering to that I'll wait until I'm closer to town. The employees for Shipt are paid per job and it's technically not an hourly position and tips are not required but are encouraged. So I imagine that Google express is going to be a similar concept.

Basically it's better to assume you have to be at home for this and don't forget that you might want to tip the delivery person. Based on what I've read on Shipt, tips can't be done online and right now they have to be cash.

  39. Hi guys! I haven't committed yet but it's still available for my area. Question- Can we use the Ulta/Walgreen coupons while at Google Express? It doesn't look like Google Express has the same sales as Ulta at the moment and was wondering if it's just not the same. Just wondering if anyone knows. I'll try to look it up. Thanks!

  40. The code is not working for me. I am suppose to enter the code during checkout on the Groupon site, right?

  41. This is definitely still available. But does anyone know if I buy two (one for my acct and one as a "gift" using another email) could I use both at the same time or would I have to place separate orders?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Ok basically best way to use it is in "incognito" browser format, because for some odd reason it won't work otherwise. Then what you do is get one for yourself, and one as a gift (to another email account). That way you can have two! I actually had to place two separate orders not sure why but it somehow worked for me.

      Delete
    2. Incognito browser is for android only right? I only have my iPhone and MacBook right now, but you're saying I can buy two (it is allowing me to buy up to 2 via the app) and then I can put both the credits on the same Google express account?

  45. So sad I wasn't able to use it for ulta, as it is not available in my area but I used it for target.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Thanks for the awesome deal G!
FYI the JUMBO3 code didn't work for me, it kept saying it was invalid. But I had 12 Groupon Bucks I had totally forgotten about, so I only paid $3 for the deal!

Everything went smoothly on Google Express, I signed up for free shipping. It's supposed to be overnight, but when I completed my order I had to choose a delivery window and the next 2 business were gray with the mention "sold out" so I could only choose Thursday.

Also worth mentioning: the coupon can cover taxes. My total before taxes was $36.99, it was $40.79 after taxes and I only paid the 79 cents.

And last thing: be careful about the substitutes option ladies and gents! After you place your order Google tells you that you can change your substitutes preferences. By default they will send you another product of their choice if what you ordered is out of stock! You can change that by checking "do not substitute" or picking one specific product. I bought It Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness and stocked up on my fave cotton pads, so I chose no substitutions for the former and picked another type of cotton for the latter (a cheaper one, so I don't know how they would refund the difference).

  51. If you are new to Google Express, save your Groupon deal for your second purchase! First time customers get $15 off their first purchase with code YES15, this cannot be combined with the Groupon deal. However, it will work if your minimum purchase is $15 or above.

    1. I used it last night 1/28. Groupon is making it look like it is no longer available but if you can find the deal, you can still get a voucher worth $40 by paying $15. Delete
  53. I'm still a little confused. Okay, google express has rochester, mn included in their delivery. But I want to ship items out to Brooklyn Park, mn. Will that work? Or do I have to be in Rochester?

    ReplyDelete
  54. This deal still worked for me as of last night 1/28 at 11pm. I found it as "Google express Chicago" deal in Groupon but used it for Manhattan delivery of goods i ordered from Fairway. Ulta was not an option in Manhattan but there were plenty of other retailers. The JUMBO3 code no longer worked and some guy had responded to all questions by saying the deal was no longer available, but Groupon had a tab/button that said "Purchase" on the deal page so I clicked on it and it worked. I used ebates.com also. You can basically save $25 to purchase $40 (or more) off anything from Google Express if it delivers to your area, including groceries which is what I did. I also had it delivered to my friend who lives in SoHo, since I live in Brooklyn and I'll go pick it up from her. I also signed up to be a Google Express member so I got free delivery (trial for 3 months). Thanks for all the tips, everyone. I just wanted you to know it is still working as of last night, so give it a shot.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Two things. 1st, this deal is still available AND has been extended so it is available for another 15 days (but from Chicago groupon).
2nd, note the fine print people! You have to use the whole value of the coupon at one time and you must use the coupon before February 29th so those of you who are concerned about not having enough money in your account ATM (because it charges your card the whole amount and then will adjust later on), make sure you can use it before the 29th.

  56. Update: I received my UD Naked 3 palette damaged the 1st time. Shipping took a week. Called customer service, and they sent me another which I received today, again damaged. Pans out and some shadows crushed. For some reason, the men at Google Express customer service are kind of rude. I was told the 1st time around by a lady that Ulta/GE would be more careful shipping. When I received my palette today in the same poor shipping method, I called GE and spoke to a guy who basically suggested I get a refund since he couldn't guarantee my palette would come back undamaged. I re-ordered & spoke to another representative. The lady I spoke to understood the love for the palette, was super kind, and she reached out to Ulta & GE to ship me an undamaged palette which I should receive this Saturday. So, if this happens to anyone (which I hope it doesn't), speak to the ladies because they understand the makeup struggle. Semi brightside, I gifted the 1st damaged palette to my sister. Now I have the second damaged palette. What to do...

  57. Aweful. Don't do it. Google express was horrible. They only brought 2/3rds of my order. The delivery guy was rude, and just drove off when asked if he could check his truck again. Plus, one of the two boxes I did received was heavily damaged, but luckily it was full of plastic ice tea bottles that didn't mind being dropped. (The delivery guy didn't ring the doorbell, he just dropped my order onto the rocks near our front porch, and I heard he crash inside the house.) Google Express is using OnTrac, for deliveries in Orange County; and either the stores are boxing up broken items for Google, or this delivers company is the worst. I can't recommend this service. I don't even plan on using the $10 code they sent me for screwing up my order. I'll drive 25minutes out of my way for a free lipstick/mascara sample and I am turning down a free $10 coupon, that should give you an idea of how bad this was.

    1. It took me weeks (2) to receive anything b/c 2 Google Express ULTA orders were cancelled b/c Google Express says they are trying to get stores to keep inventory more up to date. I'm a Google fan, but this is their worst product in my opinion. Many emails back and forth, many hrs spent. I so appreciate the bargain but Google Express just sucks really bad. The item I did get, a Roku, had the wrong description therefore I got wrong model. Had to return it b/c not what I wanted. They said Costco had wrong description down...idk. FINALLY, a Lorac Pro To Go and It for ULTA Airbrush OMG foundation brush are on their way! However my dad's order on there for Vitamin Shoppe got partially cancelled. Said a probiotic was "not up to shipping/delivery specifications"...I've heard direct from Vita Shoppe it's sent in cold sleeve. Idk why it'd be on Google Express if they can't ship it up to specs.. it's overnight delivery!
