But that's not all...
Before I get to her great photos, I want to let you know that Sierra also mentioned to me that these new shades are actually available on the Bealls website right now!
But it gets better...
Tomorrow, 12/18, is Free Shipping Day in the US (the day when hundreds of retailers offer free shipping with no minimum order required and guaranteed delivery by Christmas; I'll be doing my usual post about this later).
And guess what? Bealls is participating in Free Shipping Day! So starting tomorrow (perhaps as soon as Midnight tonight), you should be able to purchase the new Matte Lip Cream shades HERE, and the new Matte Lipstick shades HERE, with free shipping, no minimum order required. PS: Don't get too excited when you go to their site and see that 40% off code, because that code excludes cosmetics.
Oh! And when Sierra spotted these lip colors in-store at Bealls, she noticed that they had the new NYX Ombre Blushes too (here's my sneak peek if you missed my original post about those). Those are not online on the Bealls site yet, but it's exciting to know they're coming!
Now on to the swatches:

Sierra purchased two of the new Matte Lipstick shades (Up the Bass and Haze), and three of the new Soft Matte Lip Creams (Vancouver, Seoul, and Moscow) and swatched them all above.
She also shared these comparisons:

Sierra also compared the new shade Seoul to the existing shade Addis Ababa. Very different from each other!

Sierra also shared this swatch of the new shade Moscow. She mentioned that when she swatched this on her hand, it seemed thin/runny. But then when she applied it (as you're about to see in the next pic), it was creamy. So don't get discouraged if you get this one--you may just need to shake it a bit.

So once again, if you're anxious to get any of the new shades, Bealls is participating in Free Shipping Day tomorrow (12/18). You should be able to purchase the new Matte Lip Cream shades HERE, and the new Matte Lipstick shades HERE, with free shipping, no minimum order required.
In the above photo, Sierra is wearing two layers of Moscow (how gorgeous does this look on her?). She said that it was kind of patchy but workable, and a pretty shade of navy blue. I agree--it looks stunning on her and I so wish I could pull off a color like this! She also mentioned that after about 15 minutes of wear, it dried down a little bit darker than it first appeared.
Thanks again, Sierra, for the fantastic pics, swatches, and tips! I truly appreciate it!
This isn't related to this but I just wanted to let you know that Walgreens website now sells soap & glory products!
ReplyDeleteThanks! They've actually sold them for a while now (same with drugstore.com and beauty.com; both owned by Walgreens, which is owned by Walgreens Boots Alliance, which owns Soap & Glory!). But I did notice that Walgreens now has the Soap & Glory facial skincare, lip balms and lip crayons, which is super exciting--I don't think Ulta has those yet (haven't checked recently though). :)
DeleteAhh I think I saw them on drugstore/beauty.com but not on Walgreens til tonight. You're right though, Walgreens does seem to have more products. Thanks for the info!
