HOT Gilt City Deal for Ricky's NYC (Use on Morphe, Sugarpill, Dose of Colors, Violet Voss, Coloured Raine, NYX, LA Girl Cosmetics and More)

Ricky's NYC just let me know that they have a Gilt City deal that just launched today, and there are some fantastic deals on the Ricky's NYC website (and in-store if you're in the NYC area) to go with it! There's a lot to cover here, so please be sure to read through this entire post if you're interested in this one.

  • First up, starting today you can receive an online OR in-store credit for Ricky's NYC on Gilt City HERE that will get you either a $50 credit for $30, or a $100 credit for $60. To be clear, that means that when you buy $50 worth of products you'll only pay $30, or when you buy $100 worth of products you'll only pay $60.

  • UPDATE: Thanks to reader @bwitch17 on Instagram for letting me know that you can get 30% off these credits on the Gilt City site with code WELCOME30. That means that you can get the $100 credit for $42. What? Yep! (NOTE: this code is only for first-time Gilt customers.)

  • IF YOU ARE NOT A NEW GILT CUSTOMER: use code PAYPAL10 to receive $10 off any order over $50 at Gilt City. In other words, you can get the $100 credit for $50 instead of $60. (Thanks to reader Jinytte for that tip!).

  • You have until 3/9/16 to use your credit, but reader Shandi kindly let us know that, per the fine print on the voucher, if you redeem in the month of December, you will receive a FREE Rickycare brush set ($19.99 value). Thanks for that tip, Shandi!

  • As mentioned in the title of this post, Ricky's NYC sells Morphe, Sugarpill, Dose of Colors, Violet Voss, Coloured Raine, NYX, LA Girl Cosmetics and many other brands that you can use with this Gilt City credit either in their NYC area stores or HERE online.

  • UPDATE #2: I just received an update from Ricky's about the free shipping code that could enable you to receive free shipping on orders $50+ in conjunction with the Gilt City offer. Unfortunately, Ricky's is unable to allow customers to combine coupons with the Gilt City promotion (technical issue), so free shipping is ineligible for people using a Gilt code (which is a coupon in itself). If you are in the NYC metro area and would like to pick up your order at a store of your choice, Ricky's does offer an In-Store Pickup option that has automatic free shipping. Otherwise, shipping is $5.99 flat rate on all orders. So with the discount code and credit, that's $47.99-$50 for $100 worth of products, which is still awesome, right?

But there's more...

Ricky's also let me know about some sales currently going on both in-store and online right now, that you can also take advatange of with your Gilt City credit:

RickyCare 3D Blenders (featured in this month’s IPSY bags) - $10 for a fullsize blender.

Special online & in-store deals happening now through January 1st or while supplies last HERE (with more to come) including:

$4.99 Essie & OPI

$9.99 RickyCare LumiLight powder ("comparable to Ben Nye’s Banana Powder")

25% off RickyCare 88 eyeshadow palettes (two color choices)

50% off jars of Lucas’ Papaw

50% off Face Atelier makeup (entire brand)

50% off Free Your Mane (entire brand)

20% off ECRU (entire brand)

25% off Mason Pearson (entire brand)

15% off all dry shampoo (all brands)

20% off Enzo Milano Appliances

30% off NuMe Appliances

So yeah, there's lots of ways to save even more with that Gilt City credit. Hope this helps!

    1. No. The wording is weird in the listing, but if you look at the buttons in the listing (featured in my pic at the top of this post), you can see that there are both ONLINE and in-store options! :)

    2. Also, Ricky's confirmed to me directly that there are both online and in-store options for this credit. :)

  2. I just used a code "WELCOME30" for an extra 30% online...It came down to $42 on the $60 credit. Don't know if they may reject it (stated they'd send me the confirmation of processing within 24 hours) but still! :-)

    3. Aaah, it sounds like yes, only for new Gilt City customers. I didn't realize that when I posted but that makes sense since the code has "welcome" in it. So sorry about that!

    1. Do you have at least $50 worth of product in your cart after the discount? I received those instructions directly from Ricky's, so it should work as long as you have $50+ in your cart when you enter the code. Please let me know and if it still doens't work for you, I'll ask Ricky's for more info. Thanks!

    7. You're so welcome. That is a bummer. But with the extra 30% off code, it's such a deep discount that hopefully everyone will still see a really nice cost-savings after shipping. Fingers crossed! :)

  6. Free shipping only applies to orders being shipped to the store in NY. I do not think there is a coupon code for free shipping.

    1. No, that's not what Ricky's told me. The free shipping code should work for ANY order $50+. The free in-store pickup is a completely separate thing--I stated the details about that specifically in my post. But I did contact Ricky's about the code not working--just waiting for a response.

  7. I was a little confused! But I have no problem paying $5.99 shipping when I got a $100 voucher for $42!! Definitely worth it!

    1. Yay!! I was hoping people might be a bit forgiving about the glitch since it's only $5.99 with such a deep discount. SO glad you're still happy!!! :) xo

I used Ebates to get a cashback of $1.8 :D!

    Thank you again!

  9. How long did it take you to get your voucher? I've been waiting awhile.... I'm used to Groupon which comes instantly

  10. Can you use the Gilt code towards shipping? Say my subtotal is $45, can I use the $5 towards the shipping cost?

    ReplyDelete
  11. if you redeem the voucher in the month of December, you get a free rickycare brush set (a $19.99 value) per the fine print on the voucher.

  12. No. You will get charged full $5.99 shipping even if you have balance left on your credit.

Also, old gilt city customers can use code PAYPAL10 to get the $100 credit for $50 instead of $60.

  14. Does this apply to the Rickys NYC in Miami???

    1. I believe so, but I'll try to find out. In the meantime, you can also contact Ricky's directly on social media (they respond quickly on Instagram and Twitter) in case I don't get an answer soon or forget to follow up. So sorry, but it's been a long day and I'm trying to take a small break for my birthday this week. Thanks!!

    2. Just in case you didn't contact Ricky's directly to get your answer, I just heard back from them about this and it DOES include the Miami store. So you're good to go. :)

  15. Has anyone received orders yet? I read a lot of bad reviews on their Facebook :( but would love to order ..anyone have any reviews of receiving their orders ??

    1. I think it's too early for anyone who ordered to have received their shipment yet (unless they arranged to a pick-up in store). But I do want to let you know that I have ordered from Ricky's many times over the years and have never experienced any issues (I would never intentionally post about a deal with a retailer that I didn't feel comfortable using myself, and if I post about deals for retailers I have never personally ordered from, I always put a disclaimer at the bottom of the post to "proceed with caution").

That said, since I have a direct line of communcation with Ricky's, I can share with you the following info (from Ricky's) that may help if you run into any issues:

During the Gilt Deal and the holidays in general, we will be receiving a very high volume of orders and phone calls. Should a customer have any issue at all while placing their order, the quickest way to get a response is through our e-mail: customercare@rickysnyc.com. Please provide in the e-mail your name and your order number (if you have one) as this allows us to look up your information in our backend and saves time for both of us! Our office hours are 9AM to 6PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday.

Please use this same info if you have any issues after placing an order. Hopefully you won't have to use this at all, but hopefully that puts your mind at ease a bit! :)

    2. I did not see a promo code for the brush set thing so I sent them an email and they answered right away. The brush set is automatic, no promo code needed.

You need to add it before you place your order.
