In case you haven't heard, e.l.f. released their Holiday 2015 limited edition collection on their website today, so I thought I'd take a moment to share with you some highlights (i.e., the sets that caught my eye). There are several sets now available for purchased on the e.l.f. site HERE, and I would imagine these will also be available at Walgreens and Target like last holiday season (and perhaps CVS now that CVS is carrying e.l.f.). I can't recall if Kmart had e.l.f. holiday sets last year, but I think they did, so you can try there as well. Also, Big Lots tends to carry e.l.f. holiday sets, and other retailers as well, depending on your region.
I'm guessing that there will be even more to the e.l.f. Holiday 2015 collection than what you see listed on their site right now (it's usually a very large collection that seems to vary a bit from retailer to retailer), but here are a few of the sets that caught my eye:

e.l.f. Holiday 2015 Define Your Eyes Brush Set
(retail: $5)
This set (photo of outer package at the top of this post) contains three brushes from the Studio line: Smudge Brush (my holy grail brush for applying gel/cream liners--I honestly cannot express to you how much I love this brush!), Angled Eyeliner Brush, and Small Angled Brush. Given that these brushes retail for $3 each when purchased separately, I'd say this set is a nice value at $5.
e.l.f. Holiday 2015 Limited Edition Lip Kiss Set
(retail: $5)
I'm drawn to this set because it contains one of the new-ish Essential Lip Balm Tints, which I've been wanting to try (and I actually wanted to try the shade that comes with this set--Grapefruit--which always seems to be sold out at my Target). You also get a Super Glossy Lip Shine in Pink Kiss, but I don't know about the brush. As you can see, the outer packaging shows a Studio lip brush (black), but the photo above shows the Essential Lip Defining Brush (white). I'm guessing it's the Essential brush, since I don't see a Studio lip brush on the e.l.f. site apart from the Retractable Lip Brush. And if that's the case, I like the Essential Lip Defining Brush for spot-concealing (I don't care for it for lips).
There are no new shades in this set, and also no cost savings (the total retail value of each item adds up to $5), but I'm keeping it on my radar for after the holidays. If can get it for 50% off during the post-holiday clearance sale madness, I will grab this one in a heartbeat.
Again, you can check out all of the e.l.f. Holiday 2015 sets currently available on the e.l.f. website HERE.

I have all three of those eye brushes and they're fantastic. I won't even bother to shop anywhere else for brushes anymore. Theirs do the job and last through repeated washings.
ReplyDeleteAgreed!! xo
DeleteThanks for the review! There's also free shipping no minimum with code 0ship until 10/21. Just used it to grab the eye brush set!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Got the email about that earlier and will do a separate post about that! :D
DeleteAlso, great choice! You're going to LOVE those brushes!
G, the links you provided don't work. They do take me to the elf website, but there's no holiday collection there. I checked on the "New Arrivals" section and there's nothing either. :(
ReplyDeleteThat's odd. I just checked (again) and they're working fine for me. I even tested them in an incognito browser window and they worked fine. Maybe try clearing your cache and try again?
DeleteWorked for me just fine...
DeleteI had the same problem and then suddenly it worked. Try switching to the full site view (instead of mobile, assuming that may be the issue), as that's what ultimately showed for me when it worked properly.
DeleteI really love that lip gloss! Got it as a freebie with one of my summer orders from ELF. And I'm a person that doesn't really care for glosses to boot! :)
ReplyDeleteI do too (and I'm not a gloss person either)! :)
DeleteI have that angled brush and it's the BOMB in applying gel eyeliner. I love, love, love it!
ReplyDeleteYay!! It's a gem, right??
DeleteMust be sold out can't find the eyes brush set too
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely still available (I just checked). Scroll up to Christina Miller's comment above for a tip about how to access!
DeleteWill these sets be in stores or just online?
ReplyDeleteI got the lip tint/ balm Grapefruit last year in my Walgreens as a ornament packet u can hang on the tree. In a clear plastic pkg. I really like their glosses too. I have the shorter ones and they r so creamy and not sticky at all. I do not like sticky. Don't want my hair in it and will if I wear a sticky one. It's like a magnet. I love Elf products. Have several different ones and brushes face and eye. And they r always good and clean great and never shed. Someday I will pull it all together and post try to link u on IG. I have gotten their Beauty Bundles and they r really great too. Gotten a cpl duplicates already had but really glad to have back ups. So much I love from them. They r always easy to work with if anything gets damaged in shipping. Had one if their highlighters in blushes Gems the too kinda seperated. They replaced it with another I picked since it was out of stock and now have another color. Besides the baked blush in Pinktatsic which I won one from IG from one of their giveaways that was a contest. Super Happy about that.
