Coming soon: e.l.f. Studio Contour Palette
If you don't follow e.l.f. on social media, then you might have missed that they posted the above photo today (if you did miss it, well you know your ol' friend G. has your back!). e.l.f. didn't reveal too much with this image, but as soon as I hear about any additional details, you'll be the first to know. This is what they've revealed so far:
"Contour is coming...Tag your friends, spread the love, all will be revealed next week! #elfcosmetics #playbeautifully #contourpalette #sneakpeek"

New e.l.f. Studio Gotta Glow Lip Tint
From e.l.f.:
"Our NEW Gotta Glow Lip Tint adjusts to your body's natural chemistry, giving you a perfect flattering pink shade, no matter your skin tone or undertone!"
The new e.l.f. Studio Gotta Glow Lip Tint is available for purchase now on the e.l.f. site HERE. It retails for $6. I'm REALLY curious how this compares to the Dior Addict Lip Glows, which I've heard so much about. I just can't spend $33 on a self-adjusting lip balm though, so this version from e.l.f. is right up my alley.

New e.l.f. Essential Smudge Pot shades:
Cocoa Cutie, Wine Not
And just in case you didn't hear, e.l.f. added two new shades to their Essential Smudge Pot line. Cocoa Cutie (left) and Wine Not (right). The Smudge Pots are $3 each and the new shades are now on the e.l.f. site HERE.
If you're new to e.l.f. Smudge Pots, you can check out my full review of the shade Brownie Points here. I think these are great little gems at just $3 a pop.
Are you excited about any of these new launches from e.l.f.? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
I can't wait to see what elf has to offer for contouring!!! This is very exciting! I love that more affordable contouring products are coming out. I have the Wet N Wild contouring palette and I love it! Thanks for the info G!
ReplyDeleteYou're so welcome, Lily! I'd love to know what you think when you get your hands on this one! :)
DeleteOh my dog, those smudge pot colors are gorgeous! G, I thank you but my wallet doesn't. ;-)
ReplyDeleteOh now I'm super excited! I want the contour and the lip gloss! And I am also a huge fan of the smudgepots! :)
ReplyDeleteIf the ELF one doesn't work out for you Pixie has an adjusting lip tint that is $14 .. it was very flattering on me. So many come out hot bubble gum pink which just doesn't work on my skin tone.. it's more of a soft rose. It's one of their tinted brilliance balm sticks I think it's called Unique Pink. Clinique also has some that are slightly more expensive than the Pixie ($17?) but come in four colors so they adjust but lean towards a certain color if that makes any sense... I have the coral and it's nice, I just ordered the red. There is also a pink and a purple. If you wait Clinique has great gift with purchase offers that make their products a lot better deal. I subscribe to this blog https://gwpaddict.wordpress.com/ that lists all the GWP and coupon/code deals for department store brands along with some others... but there are other websites as well out there if you google that focus just on clinique. The last time I ordered from the Clinique website I got deluxe samples of two eyeshadow trios, a chubby stick, and a scrub free with a $35 purchase. Their "samples" are really generous sizes too.
ReplyDeleteGilt City (not using my referral link - obviously) has a free coupon for $30 off a $80 online order last time I checked. Plus some freebies... just FYI. =)
DeleteYou "order" it, up to 3x and they don't charge your card or anything.
G you never disappoint always on top of everything! I can't wait! Thank you.👏
ReplyDeleteOh this is the best news ever! I've been trying to find the WNW contour kits without success. I love almost everything ELF makes and will definitely get all of the items you reported on . Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI really love Elf products. I have five if the smudge pots and have seen that there r new ones. Just subbed to their sub box. I want to give it a try. Since I only do Ipsy. I haven't found anything I don't like yet with Elf products. And would like to have most of it. So I thought I could add to my collection quicker if I did the box and one is on the way. Can't wait. I know I may get something's I already have but oh well backups. I won an Elf giveaway on YouTube. Then I placed a fairly good size order. And it looks like I may be placing another soon. I can't wait to the Contour pallet. I haven't bought into any of the others. Except the WetnWild one courtesy of this blog I was on top of that one and really like it. I also have one I ordered from City Color that has the three basics. Highlighter, contour , and the bronzer. But have not gotten into the big ones. Been tempted by Nyx another love I have. So this may be mine. Thanks for all u do I super enjoy this blog and feel like I can stay in touch and ahead of some of the products to be on the look out. Thank You so much G.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to the new smudge pots. you're right about there being a bit of a learning curve with them, but I really like the two that I have now. I'm also curious about the contour palette. It's all about the contour right now and how nice if this less expensive one works. I kinda feel meh about the gloss.I seem to have to touch up way too many times with them.
ReplyDeleteI always found the Dior lip glow products drying whenever I would test them out so a $6 alternative that could possibly be moisturizing is great (love their lipbalms so just maybe it will work on my lips). I am definitely excited about the contouring palette though - a bit worried about the cost... ELF has increased their prices lately so we'll see I suppose!
ReplyDeleteI follow ELF and still missed this lol. I can't wait to see what that contour palette looks like! Hopefully it comes in multiple versions and ELF doesn't hike up the price like NYX did
ReplyDeleteLol! Well I'm so glad you were able to catch my post! :)
DeleteAnd yes, multiple shades would be great, and hopefully it's the same price as the other Studio palettes ($6)!
I saw your recent post on the new bronzer palette that said it is four times as large as the blush palette. I'm wondering if the .56 is the entire palette and the .14 is each individual shade
ReplyDeleteI thought that too, but the way they're listed on the site is the exact same way for both (no distinction between "per pan" and "total weight"). So either it's a typo or the bronzer palette maybe has deeper, larger pans?
DeleteI actually got the Gotta Glow yesterday, and I HAVE the Dior Lip Glow. I put them both side by side on my lips yesterday and they are near indistinguishable (the ELF is a hair pinkier). The ELF is slightly silkier, and I enjoyed wearing it all day (it now is going to stay in my desk). I'm going to buy more of them to keep in my purse and to give to my friends!
