First up, reader Nicole (@saverys_gal on Instagram) spotted this display and kindly shared this pic:

NEW Maybelline floor display
As you can see, the new Maybelline Dream Wonder Fluid Touch foundation, The Nudes Palette, Master Kajal Eyeliners, Leather Collection Color Tattoos and Baby Lips Crystal Collection (click here for more pics of these) are all in this floor display. Keep reading for lots of additional pics...
Reader Cassandra (@naturallysandy23 on Instagram) spotted a similar display this week but notice that, instead of the Baby Lips Crystal Collection, the last shelf in this display contains the Volum' Express Pumped Up! Mascara:

I mentioned this earlier but in case you missed it, the new Dream Wonder Fluid Touch Foundation is supposed to be similar to Armani Maestro (retail: $64). I'm very curious to try it since I had good luck with the Physicians Formula Youthful Wear Spotless Foundation, which is also similar to Armani Maestro.
Cassandra was nice enough to share lots of additional pics from this display with us:

Notice how there is no mention to the Leathers Collection matte Color Tattoos being limited edition on this display. I've had several readers confirm that the packaging on these Color Tattoos does not say "limited edition" either. Since nothing else in this floor display is limited edition, I'm guessing these are not either.

Again, these appear to be new PERMANENT shades in the Color Tattoo line.
Reader Gina purchased four of the five shades in the Leather Collection (all but Dramatic Black) and shared some pics and swatches with us:

Have you spotted any of these new-for-2014 products from Maybelline in your area yet? Do you have your eye on anything in particular here? Again, I believe that everything in this floor display is permanent, not limited edition. If I hear otherwise, you'll be the first to know!
Thanks so very much, Cassandra, Nicole and Gina, for the fantastic sightings, pics and swatches. I really appreciate it!
Can't wait to get my hands on that 12 pan palette!!
ReplyDeleteI JUST hit pan on my favorite limited edition Color Tattoo, Nude Pink. Creamy beige looks a litttttle bit darker than that but I'm willing to take my chances on my favorite every day base!
ReplyDeleteI want the 12 pan pallets and the tattoos and crystal collection
ReplyDeleteI was hoping Deep Forest would be a bit greener.. but Creamy Beige looks like it will be a wonderfully versatile color. Big fail for not releasing a lighter "Painterly-esque" color though. It's pretty much the #1 most requested since the CT's were first released.
ReplyDeleteMaybelline released Nude Pink , but it is LE.
DeleteMore's the pity. The fact that it never made it to Walgreens made it nearly impossible to get ahold of, especially in places without CVS (which is true of where I was living at the time); I finally broke down and bought it off eBay and I love it, but they need to rerelease it, stat.
DeleteI really have my eye on The Nudes Palette!! And maybe the new Baby Lips, I can't decide yet.
ReplyDeleteBBBs with a Harmon section should also be getting ready for the mid-season reset. I spent most of my workday marking beauty stuff for clearance.
ReplyDeleteThe chocolate one looks to have a bit of shimmer, which doesn't bother me. I adore the Color Tattoo line, and am always excited to see new additions, limited or otherwise. I LOVE the shimmery Spring ones, and use as I missed the dupes from last year, was super happy to see a couple return! Anyway, I hope to get the beige, plum, and chocolate Color Tattoos from this display, and maybe try one of those Kajal liners.
ReplyDeleteI like Vintage Plum. I've been waiting for more gray tones in the Color Tattoos. I'm not too interested in the new big palette after seeing it reviewed.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to for sure need Creamy Beige! Looks like the perfect everyday shadow!
ReplyDeleteI just bought the Maybelline Foundation and let me tell you this stuff is AMAZING!!! It reminds me of the Immaculate Liquid to Powder Foundation by Hourglass but for a wayyy more affordable price. This is going to be a hit especially for us oily skinned girls.
ReplyDeleteAwesome, ty for the comment/review. I can't wait to find this! I like the PF but if this works well for my summer oily skin I'm sold :) I usually like their foundations but no Harmons or BBBs with makeup near me so hoping it comes to RA, Wags or CVS soon too!
DeleteTarget has it already :)
DeleteNice! Thank you :)
DeleteI did not see the new nudes palette or the color tattoos leather on the maybelline website. Really hoping they are regular line and not limited!
ReplyDeleteIf your readers are intersted in learning more about the Maybelline nude eyeshadow palette, You Tube beauty guru Emilynoel83 has already reviewed it. Maybelline sent her the palette early for review. In the video, Emily discusses the quality of the shadows, the layout of the palette and does her own eye look with the shadows. The link for the video is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z2FO24qc_gQ
ReplyDeleteThanks! I actually linked to this exact review by Emily in my post about this palette earlier this week, but I'm glad you mentioned it again for those who may have missed it! :)
DeleteVintage Plum looks like a promising dupe for my favorite cream shadow, Perkle by Origins.
ReplyDeleteOoh, I love Perkle. Vintage Plum looks darker to me, but either way, whether it's a cheaper dupe or something that will combine nicely with it, it looks great!
DeleteLooking forward to the foundation, eyeliner, and the nude palette.
ReplyDeleteOkay..this has me scrambled..The Nudes palette has been at my store since last week, Walgreens! Ughhhhh, not so interested in those, wanting those Tattoo's and Baby Lips.
ReplyDeleteI want the palette
ReplyDeleteVintage Plum reminds me a lot of MACs Paint Pot in Stormy Pink
ReplyDeleteI found these at Wegmans by me today. I just got the creamy beige and its really nice. Was going to get the plum one but i thought it looks like the mac one too and i already have that one.
DeleteThey look absolutely classic. I can't wait to get mine. Definitely should be permanent!
ReplyDeleteAlso looking forward to the foundation, I really like the L'oreal one like it but the bottle it is in is so inconvenient . I am sure I will end up with the eye shadows also
ReplyDeleteVintage Plum looks so beautiful. my search for a matte plummy nude may be over.
ReplyDeleteStop the press!!!! These color tattoos may be permanent?!?!?! I'm hoping so because as of right now I'm on a "no buy" until at least Black Friday and I'd really like to add these matte color tattoos to my collection. My fingers are crossed!!!
ReplyDeleteCan you please make an interactive sighting map for these??? Thank you! :)
ReplyDeleteThe CTs are so dark, boooooo I won't be able to wear them.
ReplyDeleteThe foundation sounds so interesting but I'm guessing the number one ingredient is a silicone? Probably that popular one that starts with a c... that my skin normally hates. I want to try but I always end up with breakouts with silicone based foundations.
Hi Raychel I love the spelling of your name. Maybelline is owned by Loreal......with that the ingredients are exactly the same as the L'Oreal's Magic Nude. further review can be found here.....http://www.budgetbeautyblog.com/2014/06/maybelline-dream-wonder-review-swatches.html
DeleteYes, it's dimethicone and cyclopentasiloxane (had to look up the spelling of that one)
DeleteI'm excited about these being permanent. Did anyone send you swatches of Dramatic Black? I wonder how it compares to the Midnight Black (?) from this year's Spring LE collection, I bought one but returned it and yesterday I found myself wishing I hadn't :'(
ReplyDeleteOMG, I can't wait to find this display! I may have to go hunting this weekend for it. :) I want the eyeshadow palette and probably will take a look at the new color tattoos. Creamy Beige and Vintage Plum look awesome, and the fact that they're matte... yay! The foundation sounds interesting too, but I'll probably wait to find some reviews on it. With my oily skin, picking out foundations just plain sucks.
ReplyDeleteAre the color tattoos as good as the MAC paint pots? If so, I will be purchasing all of them. MAC's paint pot makes a good eyeshadow base and if I could get something similar to that a lot cheaper, then I am all for it!
ReplyDeleteWould love to know the nail polish Cassandra is wearing in her pics, love it!
ReplyDeleteSpotted display at cvs. Nude palette 13.49 I think
ReplyDeleteThe Dream Wonder foundation seems really good. I put a drop on my hand, blended it in and later tried wiping it off. It stayed on, still had smooth coverage and personally I prefered it on that short wearing to the much higher cost Armani foundation. It's slightly heavier bodied in the bottle and has an applicator wand. I'm going back this evening to get one!
ReplyDeleteSaw this display at my CVS today! I picked up 4 color tattoos (don't want the palette after seeing reviews & swatches) & they were bogo half off!
ReplyDeleteI bought creamy beige today, and wow! I am IN LOVE with it! I try to refrain from buying too many color tattoos, seeing as I already have about 10 of them, but I couldn't resist adding one more.
ReplyDeleteI picked up Chocolate Suede this week but when I got home noticed it looked like Rich Mahogany (LE color tattoo from last year) so I swatched them both and they are exactly the same color! I have looked up pictures online but CS looks matte, the one I have does have some shimmer to it, has anyone compared Chocolate Suede and Rich mahogany? I'm curious if I got a defective one or they are in fact the same, I know I'm late to the party but now I'm really wondering
