I think there's a very nice selection here! What do you think? Is there anything in particular that you're glad to see here? Are any of your favorites missing? I cannot wait to see what types of sales/Extra Bucks offers CVS gives us for NYX in the weeks and months to come!

Oh my! I can't wait until it makes it to my CVS. I have Ulta, but CVS is more convenient, so it will be so much easier to spend more money! :)

ReplyDeleteI was hoping they'd have the new shades of Soft Matte Lip Creams & Matte Lipsticks , but it looks like they only stock the original or select shades .
This one local beauty supply store I went to in National City last week had a much more extensive display .

ReplyDeleteFrom what I could see, the prices are right in line with Ulta. Most items in the $5(ish) range.
DeleteNot really to excited about this display because from what I have seen they haven't gotten any of the 2014 products! This is the same stuff that they have at Ulta in Southaven. I am looking for the new single shadows and my Ulta is already made a spot for them and now just waiting on the products to get there ( super excited)

ReplyDeleteWell shoot, there's a CVS near me that's getting a display, but I'd still have to take a bus to get to it, so it would still cost me an extra $4, same as going to Ulta. I wonder if there's a way to encourage the CVS just up the street to drop their understocked Milani display in favor of a full NYX endcap. I love NYX so much.
ReplyDeletesaw the empty case go up in my CVS and freaked out! they moved the Salma Hayek display but i *think* that they still carry Milani and Rimmel too....i will check next time I go in. can't wait to have more access to NYX- like others said, the Ulta display is usually pretty picked over/covered in lipstick/ empty of what i came in to buy.
ReplyDeleteI'm super excited!! I was really hoping the Black Label Lipsticks would be available, but no such luck. I will probably cave and place an online order because I've been wanting to try a few shades. This seems like a decent selection though!
ReplyDeleteI am kind of surprised at the natural and smokey palettes. They are very meh when they make freaking awesome trios.

ReplyDeleteI'm so excited, no Ulta anywhere near me & target is a 1/2 hour drive away, with the Nyx display usually picked over. Could you do a post recommending your top Nyx products?

ReplyDeletejust bought the skinny eye marker and megashine gloss in dolly pink from my cvs yest. their display was fully stocked and none of the products looked like they had been tampered with yet. my only gripe is that the products arent sealed. so i think once ppl know about this most if not all the products will soon be contaminated with germies and such. stillhappy that nyx is localnow. yay!!!
ReplyDeleteWhere are the new eye shadows? My Ulta is getting rid of the old single eye shadows and I have yet to see any of the new singles. I would like to see some before purchasing them.

ReplyDeleteThere's no display at the store that I usually go to (Greenbelt, MD), but I saw one today at the store by the UMD campus in College Park, MD. That one had some of the discontinued items from the winter clearance at full price though.

ReplyDeleteOne of my local CVS stores has the display up already, and people already swatching products. I really wish NYX would use safety seals or put out testers for more stores.
