First and foremost: I've mentioned this here before but if you don't follow me on social media, I share lots of little sightings and sale tidbits via Twitter, Instagram and Facebook that I don't share here on the blog (if you love this type of information, I definitely suggest following me--my links are in the social media menu bar at the top of the blog). Something I shared a few weeks ago was that Big Lots shared with me that they received a large shipment of Gud by Burt's Bees products, and that these products would start to show up in stores nationwide in the next few weeks. Well the time is here, and they've landed! You can see my own personal haul pic here (I looove that hand soap and need to go back and get more!).
Reader Olivia spotted some Gud products at her Big Lots recently and was nice enough to share a pic:

Gud by Burt's Bees Body Butter and Body Mist at Big Lots
Again, Big Lots confirmed that they have the Body Butters ($3.50), Body Mists ($2.50) and Foaming Hand Soaps ($2) and they should be hitting stores nationwide NOW (if you haven't already seen them). I highly recommend Pearanormal Activity--it smells divine and gets my hands nice and clean. As you know, these products retail from between $5-$8 at drugstores, so this is a fantastic deal!
Next up, lots of readers have spotted the L'Oreal Limited Edition 2012 Project Runway Collection at Big Lots recently (huge thanks to everyone who took the time to share this info!).
Here's a haul pic compliments of reader peachesndream:

L'Oreal and CoverGirl products from Big Lots
Peachesndream writes:
The LE Project Runway L'oreal mascara was $3 each, the Project Runway LE lipsticks were $1.50 each (they had 3 colors total, I got it in The Muse's Kiss), The LE Project Runway LE blushes were $1.50 each (I got all 4 colors: The Queen's Blush, The Muse's Blush, The Mystic's Blush, and The Tempress' Blush), The L'Oreal HIP Shine Struck Liquid Lipcolors were $2.00 each, many colors available, The CG truconceal concealer was $3, and the L'Oreal Infallible LeGloss 8 Hour gloss was $1.50.
Also saw L'Oreal LE nail polishes from that LE Project Runway collection for $1 each, CG Professional mascara, Revlon Color Stay foundation (the original one, not the new 24 hour one).
Reader Rachel of Bakerita also spotted a ton of L'Oreal Project Runway 2012 stuff (and some Revlon eyeshadows) at her local Big Lots recently. Here's her haul:

L'Oreal, Revlon and Sally Hansen cosmetics from Big Lots
Rachel writes:
...there's a ton of the loreal project runway LE collection [at Big Lots] (lipsticks & glosses mostly) all for $1.50. Also a lot of revlon diamond lust single eyeshadows for $1, Sally Hansen nail colors for $1, and my HG mascara, loreal voluminous, for $2! (In the LE project runway packaging).
Reader Jordan spotted the Project Runway Collection at her Big Lots too, and shared a haul pic:

L'Oreal cosmetics at Big Lots
As you can see, Jordan also spotted the Project Runway 2012 nail polishes for $1, and she also scored one of the $1 Infallible eyeshadows that I first showed you in this post. These are from the Fall 2012 Limited Edition Diamond Collection.
Jordan writes:
They also had the Queen's, Mystic's and Temptress's eye shadow palettes. As far as blush, they had the Queen's and Muse's.
They also had all the glosses and polishes from the Diamond Collection from last fall, as well as one of the shadows, Primed & Precious.
Reader Leah spotted the Project Runway nail stickers at her Big Lots and shared a pic:

L'Oreal Project Runway Nail Stickers at Big Lots
Leah said that they also had the green snakeskin design at her Big Lots, and she also spotted these:

Maybelline Color Show Nail Stickers at Big Lots
I thought that these were from this collection from 2012, but I don't see this particular design in the display. If any of you know which collection this one is from, please let us know? Also, Leah said they had six different designs at her Big Lots.
Moral of this story: I think you might want to head out to your local Big Lots ASAP and see what you can find!
Huge thanks to readers Olivia, Peachesndream, Rachel, Jordan and Leah for the great info and haul pics! I really appreciate it!
Wow, you guys must live near awesome Big Lots! Mine only has the Maybelline nail stickers, the Revlon eyeshadow singles and a few random Sally Hansen Xtreme polish, nothing like you've mentioned here! Hopefully some of these items will start to trickle in, especially the L'Oreal Project Runway items. As always, thanks for the info. I will be checking all of the Big Lots around my area more frequently now. :D
ReplyDeleteAwesome finds ladies! I picked up 3 of the Revlon Diamond Lust eyeshadows this weekend and I LOVE them! Can't wait to go back for more finds! So fun!
ReplyDeleteWow! These hauls are amazing. I'm so mad that both my local Big Lots closed a couple of years ago. My nearest one is about a 45 minute drive in the next state (AZ) I really wish I could go soon :) Love these Big Lots Hauls :)
ReplyDeleteLast week I managed to snag a bunch of these items starting at $1.50. My mom saw some of what I bought. We made a trip last night to my closest BigLots (Highland,CA on Victoria and Highland ave by San Manuel Casino) and they only had a very very few things left from the Project Runway L'Oreal collection. I did see a lot of ELF palletes and brushes. As well as some Essie nail treatments. Id say run to your closest BigLots before everything is gone!
ReplyDeleteYour big lots is definetly better than mine

I wanted to inform you that I love your blog and listed it on my blog page as one of my favorite and most visited beauty blogs!
ReplyDeleteMan, I wish my Big Lots had good stuff like this! I'm really tempted to give it a try anyway, after seeing all these goodies.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads up. ^^
I wish there was a Big Lots nearby where I cross border when visiting the states. I'll love to try out new products as often as possible but I can't justly haul much because I never finish any of my makeup within a year ... or three. >,<
ReplyDeleteI scored the body spray and the hand cream in Pearanormal Activity last week. Very nice deals indeed. I may have to go back and try the Gud handsoap even though my usual go-to is the Method hand soap since I can buy the big refill bags of it.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the gud line :)
ReplyDeleteSo now I am wondering how to schedule a run to Big Lots into a busy week...it sucks that BL near me is not in my normal area of operation. LOL! Plus I don't want to change up my scheduled week and not find any of these, my BL isn't a "good" one as far as cosmetics goes. Anyway these look like great hauls and I am completely in eny! Enjoy them girls!
ReplyDeleteI always forget about Big Lots. I need to check it out more often!
ReplyDeleteBig Lots envy! I have seen the gud line and the Maybelline nail stickers at my local BL, but nothing else!
ReplyDeleteMine had a few of those! Really nice to get Voluminous for $3. It's not dried out at all. The infallible champagne eyeshadow is amaaaaazing, too. Making sacrifices to the makeup gods to bring the LE polishes to my big lots...
ReplyDeleteI got a Rimmel "British Flag" shadow set from my local Big Lots that was gorg. I also got an Almay gloss in a squeeze tube that was *not* fab. Don't buy those glosses! :-(
ReplyDeleteI got last years Maybelline Limited Edition fall palettes for 1.50. I was sad to have missed out on Cozy Cashmere the first time.
ReplyDeleteYep.. Definitely went to Big Lots today & bought quite a few things haha. But I don't feel as guilty because I only spent $8 on 7 things! :P
