Spotted: New Sally Hansen Salon Effects designs

Has anyone seen the annual limited edition Valentine's Day designs from Sally Hansen yet? They usually pop up in January, but I haven't seen a display in my area and I haven't heard a peep from any of you about them either. Looking back, the Valentine's Day 2012 collection actually started showing up in December of 2011. Hum...I hope Sally Hansen hasn't decided to ditch their seasonal collections because I love those!

Anyway, reader Aryana spotted some new designs in the permanent Salon Effects display recently and was nice enough to share some pics. Take a look!

Heart Breaker and Bold Rush

We've got hearts with skulls and crossbones and a gold & purple sparkle design. Keep reading to see the other three designs added to the permanent collection...

Sweet Marble Floret

A marble design, a colorful geometric design, and a purple & gray zebra stripe:

For a closer look at these designs, I just saw that they're all up on the Target website here.

If you haven't spotted these in your area yet, it's probably because the Sally Hansen Salon Effects display at your drugstore hasn't been reset yet (some designs were discontinued last year, so the entire display needs to be reset to accommodate the losses and new additions).

Have you spotted these new designs in your area yet? Thoughts?

Thanks so much for the great sighting and pics, Aryana!

  1. The Sweet Marble Floret actually came out last year to coincide with Prabal Gurung Spring 2012 collection. They were limited edition & pretty hard to find in my area. I'm glad they brought that one back it's so pretty.

  2. I have 275, I'm putting it on tonight. That's about as festive I get for Valentine's Day.

  3. I went to Meijer last night and saw them putting up the new display and saw a lot of these. I finally spotted a lot of the new NYC nail colors, too, but was most excited to find some cute Studio M polishes, including and end-cap display that had a pinky-red jelly with bits of holographic flakies.

    1. Ooh! Do you happen to remember the name of that Studio M polish?

  4. I saw these at Walgreens but had no idea they were brand new. I love the skull and hearts.

  5. My sister saw a bunch of new ones at Rite Aid today: paisley, music notes, some purple bulls eye looking ones, and more!
