They're baaaaaaack! Remember last year's L'Oreal Project Runway Collection? Well L'Oreal's back at it again, and judging from the advance pics of this year's collections, I think they've outdone themselves this year!

My must-haves:
Colour Riche Gloss in The Mystic's Shine (duochrome lavender and pink!)
Color Riche Lipcolor in The Mystic's Kiss (purple lipstick!)
Color Riche Lipcolor in The Mystic's Kiss (purple lipstick!)
Colour Riche Nail Polish in The Temptress's Touch (that flash of green!)
Studio Secrets Eyeshadow Quad in The Muse's Gaze (kelly green eyeshadow!)
According to Racked.com, this collection launches in stores this September, but as we all know, these things have a tendency to pop up earlier than their official release dates. If last year's Project Runway Collection is any indication, we should see the big display at Walgreens first.
What do you think of the 2012 Project Runway Collections? Do they appeal to you more, or less, than last year's offerings?

DeleteWow, I agree with Aly...I admire your willpower, ladies! Of all the times to be on a no-buy, this would be the most difficult for me. The entire late summer and fall?? That's when all of the fall and winter LE collections hit the drugstores, and those ate my absolute favorite collections of the entire year. I could never do it! Lol!! I look forward to those little pumpkin polishes and snowmen polishes every year, so I'd be doomed because those usually hit stores in September.

DeleteOh. Dear. GOD!! i need every last thing!! i'm STILL obsessed with last year's entire collection and, thanks to Ebay, I've gotten nearly everything (just 2 more shadow quads to go)! But this year's is.stunning! i'm dying over all those velvety-looking deep greens & purples!

ReplyDeleteThe Mystic's Shine gloss and The Temptress's Touch polish O_O both look awwesome. The Queen's Ambition polish looks interesting too, but I don't know what's going on there. Overall, they look soo good (better than what I saw from last year) and I'd buy almost all of it if I had the money.

ReplyDeleteI sincerely hope they run some kind of bogofree or 40% off sale when this comes out at my Walgreens. I want so much of it, but for certain my favorites are the same as yours G! lol I do want all the nail polishes, but MUST HAVE THAT GREEN! I noticed you didn't choose any of the blushes, I was "meh" about them too. I love my Milani and Cargo blushes, so what do I need those for? I would love to get all the eye palettes, the glosses, and a couple of the lipsticks though.

DeleteI'm a purple lipstick fanatic! For some reason it looks great with my complextion....i even wear it to work and it looks totally "professional". That Mystic kiss lipstick shall be MINE. I'm on a makeup no buy, but I will allow myself this lipstick...I might even get 2 of them since it's LE.

ReplyDeleteToo much bright color for me in this one--I'm a neutrals and muted colors girl, mostly. However, I'm also on a no-buy for another 9 products (yikes!), so it's perfectly fine if companies feel like releasing collections I'm not that into, LOL!

DeleteI saw everything today (Rite Aide in LA) - there were three separate displays. Let me know if you want pictures. I bought a bunch of the nail polishes and one lip gloss, which I'm planning to review.
