So I was pretty excited to see these new skincare and body care products from St. Ives at Rite Aid last week:
St. Ives Naturally Clear Green Tea collection
(retail: $5.99 each at Rite Aid)
These are actually on sale this week (through Saturday) at Rite Aid for 2/$7, but the sale exludes the body washes.
What I found most interesting about these products was that each product clearly states on the package:
Formulated without parabens and phthalates
Not tested on animals
Does not contain animal ingredients
After seeing that, I couldn't resist picking up the Naturally Clear Green Tea Scrub, which I will review in the days to come. At just $3.50 on sale, I couldn't pass it up.
What do you think of this new line from St. Ives? Do you think you'll give it a try?
I'm interested to try it. Bethbr00tality on YT absolutely loves this stuff.
ReplyDeleteI have been using the Green Tea Scrub for several months now and absolutely love it! I can't imagine how I lived before this product!
ReplyDeleteI'm interested in seeing for myself how the other products from the line work out.
I can never find the Green Tea Scrub in drugstores, only the Green Tea Cleanser. I can't wait to hear your thoughts on the scrub because for a dry skinned gal like myself exfoliation is a must. I'm always on the lookout for a good scrub.
ReplyDeleteI have the cleanser. It was great for me for about two weeks, but after that, it got too dry. :/ I don't think the cold weather/heater combo is helping, though, so I'll probably switch back in the summer or something.
ReplyDeleteI love the green tea scrub. It doesn't feel drying and it smells great.
ReplyDeletei bought a mini of the green tea scrub from target for $1 in the travel section. I like it except sometimes it leaves behind white specks
ReplyDeleteLove the green tea scrub!! I have been using it for a few weeks, it smells great and doesn't dry out my skin, it's perfect!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen the body products! I absolutely love the Green Tea Cleanser. It smells amazing, and it's really perfect for oily skin. I think it would be too drying for dry skin. I hope I can find the other stuff to try.
ReplyDeleteI bought the scrub last year and it broke me out. :/ But I've never seen the body stuff, it looks interesting!
ReplyDeleteThey used to sell this years ago and it went away for awhile. I'm glad it's back. I used to use the face wash on a daily basis and I remember it took off makeup.
ReplyDeleteLadies! Wow! Such AWESOME information and feedback! Thank you all so very much. I'm now even MORE excited to try the scrub I bought since I have very oily skin and so many of you seem to enjoy it (except for Steph--sorry this didn't work out for you, sweetie! I hate it when new products break me out!).
ReplyDeleteAnd Rebecca, you know, when I saw these products, I thought that some of them looked familiar, but then I saw the "new" in the corner of the label and I thought I was just getting them confused with some other line. Thanks for letting me know I'm not crazy! :)
i've been using the green tea cleanser for a month or two and it is really good stuff! smells nice, doesn't lather too much, really cleans the skin, and doesn't dry me out. haven't seen the scrub but then i haven't really been looking for one since i have several on the go already.
ReplyDeletethe olive oil cleanser (reformulation i think) is also faboosh especially for winter.
Not sure if/when this will hit UK shores, but I love drinking green tea!
ReplyDeleteI've tried the cleanser it's not too bad but nothing amazing I feel like. I don't think I"ll be trying any more St. Ives skincare -_-
ReplyDeleteBoth of those products were available a while back where I live and of course I had to try both of the facial cleansers. I super loved the face scrub. The granules were tiny but still left your face feeling fresh and the face wash is fantastic! If I had actually taken note of the sale at rite aid I would have actually bought those instead of the Noxema scrub, which is a bit strong in smell for me. I guess I'll be stocking up!
ReplyDeleteDoes the body wash contain sulfates? If not, does it still lather well?
ReplyDeleteI've used the Green Tea scrub before and it just smells...odd. Doesn't smell like green tea to me...but it smells like a very green...smell. ;P Love the drinkable kind of green tea though.
ReplyDeleteI use the Green Tea Scrub, and it works amazingly!
