50% off all lacquers & treatments at Cult Nails (now through 6/25)

I don't know what's going on today but the crazy deals just keep a-comin'! Many thanks to reader Amanda for this one:

Now through 6/25, receive 50% off all lacquers and treatments when you use code FB200K on the Cult Nails website. No free shipping during this sale (flat rate shipping based on your location applies).

I think I might finally pick up the LE shade Thrive, which I've kind of been drooling over since I first saw Kelly's swatches here. I've also been wanting Feelin' Froggy for a very long time (check out Cristina's swatches here). Hum...

Thanks again for the heads-up about this sale, Amanda!

Review & Swatches: Colores de Carol Holiday 2013 Nail Polishes

In honor of Small Business Saturday, I thought it was the perfect time to show you some swatches of some polishes by indie retailer Colores de Carol. I've been a huge fan of Carolina's work for a long time now, lovingly admiring her creations both in her shop and via the swatches of various nail bloggers. But as I mentioned in my last indie polish review, I've been like a deer caught in headlights when it comes to indie polishes. Simply put, I want them all! It's been incredibly difficult for me to make up my mind when it comes to purchases, so I'm thankful that Carolina recently sent me a few of her holiday polishes for review.

You can purchase these polishes NOW via the Colores de Carol shop, and you can enter code BF20OFF for 20% off your entire order (no minimum purchase required). This code is valid now through 12/2.

Review & Swatches: Lumina Lacquer Nail Polishes

My very first indie nail polish review! Can you believe it?!?

Some of you fellow nail polish fanatics might be wondering what took me so long to get on the indie nail polish train, and my answer to you is quite simple: I love nail polish so much that I'm like a deer caught in headlights when it comes to the world of indie nail polish brands. There are so many amazing, creative, talented indie polish makers out there that I just could never make up my mind about which one to try first.

But the floodgates have opened, my friends! And the story about how My Very First Indie Polish came to be is a fun one that I hope you'll take a moment to read!
