Two Ways to Save on DHC Cleansing Oil

If you love DHC Cleansing Oil as much as I do (it's still my holy grail cleansing oil--you can read my review from back in 2012 here), then you know that it rarely goes on sale. So I want to let you know that right now, you can get the large 6.5 oz. bottle for as low as $22.27 on Amazon (free shipping with Prime). This size regularly retails for $28. If you do not select the Subscribe & Save option, the purchase price is $23.44. That's not a huge savings, but it's still something. And don't forget that if you still have any Luxury Beauty credits in your Amazon account (from previous promos), you can use them with this purchase. Also, if this is your first purchase from the Amazon Luxury Beauty department, try code LUXBEAUTY at checkout to receive 15% off your first order (not sure if this code is still valid but worth a shot!). (UPDATE: I just double-checked and this listing is not in the Luxury Beauty Department--it's in the regular Beauty & Health department. So sorry about that!)

This same size is also on sale on the DHC website for $22 (ends 3/31). Shipping is free if you spend $85+, otherwise it is $4.50. You also get your choice of 4 free samples at checkout. BUT: if you're a first time customer on the DHC website, you will receive a FREE full-size liquid eyeliner if you click through this link to purchase the cleansing oil (you won't get the sale price on the cleansing oil, but you will receive free shipping on this purchase, plus your four free samples). The eyeliner by itself retails for $20.

Hope that helps!

  1. I just tried applying this to my luxury beauty credit but it did not apply. I'm not sure if this is a luxury beauty item. Has it worked for anyone else?

    1. Oh gosh, Breyana I'm so sorry! When I got the link for this item, I made sure I was in the Luxury Beauty department before I searched. When the listing came up, I thought I was STILL in the Luxury Beauty department, but now I'm looking at it again and see that it took me back to the regular Health & Beauty department. So I guess it's NOT a Luxury Beauty item. Again, I'm so sorry about that!

  2. Ever since reading a post you did about this oil several months back (could've been up to a year ago), that included the link to your 2012 review, I've wanted to try this. Coincidentally, just 3 days ago, I went thru some of my subscription boxes that got stuck in storage on accident during my move. I was thrilled when I came across a full size bottle of this in one of those boxes, especially since having read that last post I STILL had not come across any other samples of this in my stockpile! I couldn't justify spending that much on ANOTHER cleansing oil when I still had so many others (including deluxe sample size shiseido cleansing oil that I just can't seem to ever finish. I mean this kind of product lasts forever!). You were absolutely right AS USUAL in your review! This stuff is amazing! Hands down, best one I've tried so far. Now if only I can convince myself that I should go ahead and get another full size bottle since you've also said they rarely have sale on this...Maybe you can help me with decision. How long does it usually take you to get through a bottle of this? I change up my skincare routine a couple of days a week so I can try out something new or so I can throw masks or exfoliants into the mix without being too harsh on my face but I use cleansing oil at least 5 days out of every week.

    1. Hi, I'm not G, but I love the Palmers cleansing facial oil. For me, it's better than DHC. I have very sensitive skin and the DHC was too harsh. Palmers is not pricey and I got mine at Target.

  3. I'm using the Palmers cleansing oil based on your recommendation and I'm really liking it. I especially like the price point. I like that it's not as thick as the josie Moran cleansing out. This makes it easier to work with without feeling like I'm being rough with my face.

  4. thanks for the heads up! I have a few cleansing oils to use up before I can buy more, but I do like DHC's oil (working my way through the big bottle)

  5. I love Burt's Bees cleansing oil and also Garnier, which is much cheaper, when I can find it. Have no problem with either with very sensitive skin. You can find both just about anywhere.
