Join the New Nordstrom Rewards Program, Get a $10 Credit to Use During the Anniversary Sale!

I meant to post about the new Nordstrom Rewards program a little while back after I received a great tip from longtime reader @lippiesandlotion on Instagram (thanks for that tip, @lippiesandlotion!). But now there's an extra promo to go along with enrollment, and you do NOT want to miss out on this one.

If you haven't heard about the new Nordstrom Rewards program yet, it's free to join and once you enroll, you will receive 1 point per dollar spent in stores and online at Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack and HauteLook, whether you pay by cash, check, or a non-Nordstrom credit or debit card. For every 2,000 points you earn, you will receive a $20 Note to spend on anything you want.

But it gets even better if you enroll between now and July 10th.

When you become a new Nordstrom Rewards member now through July 10, you'll get a $10 promotional certificate to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, July 22-August 7. (Per Nordstrom, you'll receive your $10 certificate before the sale begins!). This certificate is redeemable from the date it is received through August 7, 2016, in stores or online at Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack and HauteLook, so you don't have to use it toward the Anniversary Sale, but I think you might want to (more on that in a moment). To be clear, early access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is still exclusive to customers who have a Nordstrom Credit Card (everyone else will have access to the Anniversary Sale on the official start date of July 22).

If you're new to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, they ALWAYS offer amazing beauty deals during this event including makeup (they usually offer a special LORAC Nordstrom Anniversary Sale exclusive palette; last year's palettes were $15), haircare, beauty tools, skincare, fragrance, and more. So IF Nordstrom offers an exclusive Anniversary Sale palette from LORAC again this year for $15, that means you'd be able to get it for $5 with your enrollment credit (plus the usual free shipping on all orders and 3 free samples with all beauty purchases). Now that's a big "if" because I don't know if there will for sure be a palette again this year and if it will be $15 like last year, but I do know that Nordstrom always offers amazing beauty deals during their Anniversary Sale, so you will for sure be able to put that $10 credit to good use, no matter what.
