  1. just FYI, the origins deal doesn't work on value set. They all say- (Please note this set is not eligible for discounts)

    1. Thanks so much! I checked the fine print before I wrote my post and it says:

"Offer may not be used in combination with any other offer or discount. Applicable purchase amount does not include the purchase of eGift cards; Gift cards; sales tax; shipping and handling; items noted as not eligible; items that are not in stock at the time of purchase; pending purchases or purchases made prior to the start of the offer or after the offer ends.

So when I tried the code with a value set, it gave me a message that said, "the benefits for offer STOCKUP are not available at this time." I took that to mean that the sale had not yet started. So after I saw your comment, I went back, removed the value set, added a different item and the code worked. Argh! That fine print doesn't specifically say that the value sets are excluded from this sale, and I totally missed the notation that you mentioned! That wording after I entered the code totally threw me off as well. :(

All that to say, thank you so much for the tip! I just updated my blog post. :)

    2. it is SO confusing. To make matter worse, if you add one of the $25 sets, and a regular ($20-something) item it'll then work :\ it is not clear at all...

either way- you are just the messenger ;)

  2. At exactly 9:34 this morning, I placed an Origins order using that code for the $20 off of $45. Then like around noon, I received an email from Origins that the coupon was going to be valid till the 11th. 🤔 I still got the discount though and paid $32 for a $52 dollar order. Now, I hope they don't cancel my order..

  3. on tarte theres an amazing deal on their "holidaze of giving 15-piece collection" that's on they're sale page, it includes all full-size items, regularly priced $174, on sale for $54 (which is already a good deal) but with the 30% off is only $37.80!!! (you do have to add an item to get free shipping but still thats a 78% discount

  4. I have been wanting the Dr. Brandt PoreDermabration FOREVER. I must have used up 20 samples of it, it's my favorite scrub, my pores are INVISIBLE after each use and stay that way for about 4-5 days. But I couldnt bring myself to pay that much, so I'm gonna finally get the full size with that 40% off! And even though it ended up being less than $49 they still gave me free shipping. Maybe they figure it from the original purchase price??
Thanks sooo much for letting me know about this!

  5. Totally skipped the IMATS line at Tarte to purchase things online yesterday, the prices with the discount online were cheaper than IMATS pricing + you have more options + cashback :). I need to check out origins.

    1. I haven't ordered directly from Tarte before-- can you tell me how it works with Ebates (it says "up to 5% back" but I can't find any details elaborating on what that exactly means)?

    2. Ebates is amazing! You just go to their site then get linked to the one you want to shop at. You get whatever amt of cash back you earn in a quarterly check or added to your PayPal acct. I've earned $30 so far!

    3. Yes, I use Ebates already and love it! :) I just am not clear on what the % back is with Tarte because it says "up to" 5% instead of just the usual straightforward percentage given for other sites. It does this for a few other sites - Amazon is one - but it gives stipulations as far as what it meant and what is required for certain amounts percentage back (i don't remember those details now, but I have ordered through Ebates and Amazon in the past ... If I remember correctly, it depended on what department you were purchasing from). With Tarte, I am not able to find any details on Ebates about this so I just wondered if anyone knew. Thanks! Love Ebates!

  6. I just ordered from Tarte last week. Ugh!!! Does anybody know if they offer price adjustments?

    1. I checked and their site doesn't have any info about adjustments. BUT, you could always reorder with the discount code and return your full-price order (as long as none of the items were listed as final sale). If it was a bigger order, the hassle might be worth the savings imo.

    2. Thank you for checking!!! Mine all came from the sale page which I assume is "final sale" even though it's not labeled that say.

  7. I have the Poppy Palette from Tarte( got it at Sephora awhile back). Its a nice little palette. Very neautral( which I prefer). The blush is also a dupe for NARS orgasm.

  8. The Origins Earth Day Tote has sold out online! I was lucky to get one yesterday.

  9. I got the tartlette in bloom and the full coverage lip trio (also from tarte). I also put in an order to ulta...I got a bare minerals palette and a btl of UD naked skin foundation and I got a TON of free gifts! BTW, I checked to see if the Laura Geller free Spackle was still available and it was! So for free gifts, I got that, UD primer potion and flame eyeshadow samples, the $75 purchase beauty bag, a deluxe sample of bare minerals foundation, and skin longevity. I also picked up a few random nyx items (b2g1 + $3.50q). I really wish ulta had the same $10 free shipping that Sephora has! I would use the crap out of it
