Thanks so much to reader @crisswuvsmakeup on Instagram for the tip about this new Smashbox value set (pictured above). The new Smashbox Primer Must-Haves Set retails for $25 HERE (value: $55). This set contains a full-size Pore Minimizing Photo Finish Foundation Primer (1 oz.) which alone retails for $39. It also contains a travel-size Photo Finish Primer Water (0.5 oz.).
BUT IT GETS BETTER...
So as I indicated in my title, if you buy the Smashbox set for $25 and grab the Perricone freebie, you're getting $136 worth of product for $25 total (and free shipping if you have Sephora Flash, which you should totally have by now--this is probably the 100th time that I've said it pays for itself after just two orders, and it comes in so handy for deals exactly like this one).
Thanks so much, @crisswuvsmakeup and Lk, for the HOT tips. I so appreciate it!
The primers are sold out :,(
ReplyDeleteNo they're not! I literally JUST added that set to my cart two seconds before writing this! Try again!
DeleteI just ordered this (04/21/16 at 7:25pm central) and it worked. Thank you Nouveacheap! :D
DeleteOh maybe not! It said it was for a second!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely NOT sold out as of the time of this comment! :)
DeleteI was so worried that they would sell out within a few hours, I bought the Sephora Favorites Bronzing set moments after it showed up on the site. There wasn't much of anything else, so I selected the Fresh Overnight Mask promo. Of course, it was later that day that I heard about the Cold Plasma promo. So I guess I'll be losing out on this deal. Anyway, I thought promo codes were one-time use per Sephora account.
ReplyDeleteNo, the standard deluxe sample codes are not one-time use! I have used the same codes twice and never have a problem. It is great when you fall in love with a particular sample and want more--I did that when there was a Phyto haircare sample a while back. I loved it, and so I placed another order to get another sample before it sold out. There are occasionally some promo codes that will stay "one per customer" and those will not work a second time, but that seems to be pretty rare.
DeleteI've only tried maybe a few times to use a promo code more than once and it was usually for the more elaborate GWPs. Thanks for the heads up.
DeleteNo problem! Yeah, the elaborate multi-item freebies are those rare exceptions. :)
Deleteeven though this is such a good deal, I haven't even finished the loreal primer sitting in the corners of my drawers. I'll pass on this one :(
ReplyDeleteTotally understand! Good for you for staying strong and using what you have! I wish I could do that more often but these deals are sometimes hard to resist when you're blogging about them on a daily basis! #beautybloggerproblems Lol!
DeleteThanks for the tip, I just bought them.
ReplyDeleteAnyone know how long this deal will run? I won't have enough money till Monday, but this is such a good deal!
ReplyDeleteThese types of deals don't expire. They just run out of stock. Hopefully both items will still be in stock by the time you're ready to place your order, but one (or both) MAY be out of stock by then. Impossible to predict, unfortunately!
DeleteI purchased 2 full size of Photo Finish Primer Water on HSN when they had the Visa Checkout promo of $25 discount with $50 purchase. So I don't really need this one today. I also have so many primers to go thru. So I purchased the Cinema Secrets MakeUp Brush Cleaner Pro Stater Kit 8oz for $24. I've been wanting to try it ever since I read a review you made on it a while back. I didn't have the Sephora Flash yet so I added that to my bag and it qualified me for the free Perricone Cold Plasma. I'm guessing you can purchase a $15 item plus add the $10 Sephora Flash and that qualifies you for the promo. I also made a second $25 purchase (Nutrition Daily Cleanse Suppluments 60ct.) so I can get another Perricone Cold Plasma. Thanks so much for the tips G! 😃
ReplyDeleteAaah, I'm so glad it all worked out for you! I would love to know what you think of the Cinema Secrets after you get it--I adore that stuff! Also, YAY for getting Flash!! :D
DeleteYes! I'll definitely let you know! :D
DeleteLooking forward to it! :D
DeleteI'm getting a repricing error :(
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what that means. I just tried (again) to add the Smashbox set to my cart and it's showing as $25, just as before. If you're not seeing that, I would definitely call Sephora and have them help you!
DeleteThey only let you use each code 1x. I've tried to use other codes twice and the system would not let me. There is a new VIB code for a 3 piece claudele set. VIPParis. good with a 35.00 purchase.
ReplyDeleteWhen did this happen for you and what kind of code were you trying to use? For example, when they had the deluxe Fresh lip balm freebie, I actually used that exact same code THREE times, no problem. And like I mentioned above, not too long ago I used the code for the Phyto hair sample twice (I think that was in January??). If they're not letting you do that any more, this must be a pretty recent policy change!
DeleteI'm actually embarrassed to admit it, but I used the cold plasma code 3 x's today with absolutely no problem. My 1st order, I got that 3 PC Lancome hypnose set. My 2ND order I got the 3 PC tarte rainforest set , an Anastasia banana refill, and a $1 mufe case (to get me to $25). And on my 3rd order, I picked up the smash box set u listed above. I double checked my email and all 3 orders were confirmed WITH the cold plasma. So I don't understand why anyone else would be having a problem using it more than once, unless of course it's out of stock?
DeleteTHANK YOU, Kaylah! I was perplexed by Randi's comment because I've done this so many times and I haven't heard a thing about this policy changing. If anything, I think Sephora probably knows that this is a great incentive for us to place multiple orders, kinda like what you did today!
DeleteOh, and don't you dare feel embarrassed. Ain't no shame in our freebie game! ;)
I tried it awhile ago with one of those party bag sets( I can't remember the code). The freebie where you get a bunch of travel sizes and sample packets in a little pouch. It would not let me redeem that again.
DeleteThanks for this! Placed a few small order to get multiples of this promo! So worth it, woohoo!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking of getting this set, but it bothers me that retail value being promoted is inaccurate. It says it's a $55 value, which would be right if the primer water was the 1 oz travel size, which is $16. But in the description, although they call it the travel size, it says it's only 0.5 oz, which means the retail value is only $8 and value of this set is actually only $47. I've seen the 0.5 oz size of the primer water before and it's pretty small. Just something for everyone to be aware of. Thanks for sharing the deal though! It still is pretty good if you add the Perricone sample.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info! I just checked out and had no problems getting this set and the deluxe Perricone freebie.
