But I want to thank reader Tori on Facebook for sending me a message yesterday alerting me to the fact that the new Nonie Creme - Colour Prevails line is now available for purchase at Walgreens.com and Drugstore.com and, according to this press release, this line will also be available in-store at both Walgreens and Duane Reade. And guess what? The prices are more affordable than I was anticipating. Not Wet n Wild or Jordana type affordable, but more along the lines of Flower Beauty or Physicians Formula. Plus, since this line will be avaialble at Walgreens, you know that means there will be sales to bring the prices down a bit.

Oh maaaan AND it's got butterfly packaging???? *throws my money at it*
ReplyDeleteOh my!! I'm not butterfly girl but I am always excited to try something new!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing! I've had my eye on some palettes that were just out of my price range, but that smokey and smudgy palette, that will be mine. The Vintage Rose lip duo also looks pretty gorgeous. I like the idea of a matching lipstick/gloss set. Thanks so much for the pictures, and really all of the work you put into this site. I just snagged some Physician's Formula stuff for cheap because of you!
ReplyDeleteThese look amazing, but the packaging makes me think of Donita Donata in Wild Kratz, who is always trying to exploit wildlife for her fashion line.
ReplyDeleteYessss! That cc creme base coat and that colourwash comfort balm are the most interesting to me, can't wait to see this line irl.
ReplyDeleteSame here! :)
DeleteWell they've knocked it out of the park with the gorgeous packaging. Unfortunately, I'm a mad de potter and anything I can't de pot is in the cabinet hidden away so I'll probably pass on this line unless something gets crazy good reviews.
ReplyDeleteKica, your comment cracked me up!
I think I might have get something just because of that packaging! And at those prices I can afford to!
ReplyDeleteLove the butterfly theme. It reminds me of a perfume I used to own in the 90's.
ReplyDeleteInteresting news! I might check these out. I love the lipstick/lip gloss combo!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness the packaging!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat polish cap looks really awkward. :\
ReplyDeleteWow, I feel so bad-everyone else is loving the packaging. Lol Storing any of these suckers would be a pain for anyone with a crap ton on makeup like me. Lol it's cool to see something new though-gotta give them props for originality. :)
ReplyDeleteEeek I am not a fan of the packaging at all lol. More for you guys I guess!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. It looks really cheap. Sorry guys. :(
DeleteOh wow! I am very interested in this line!! I cannot wait to try it!!
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty, but a bit steep for Walgreens. Part of my thing going there is scoring deals. I do like that there's some different looking stuff here, though.
ReplyDeleteO.M.G!!!!!! THE PALETTES!!!!! I noticed that just about everything else is a "duo" (like, the lipstick/gloss, liner/color, etc)...I wonder if they'll have more "single" items?
ReplyDeleteOther than being slightly concerned I might grab a polish instead of a liner because of how similar those packages are, this is impressive. I definitely want one of the beautiful palettes!
ReplyDeleteI have a question? The nail polish is Made in USA and The eye and Lip is Made in China.
ReplyDeletewould this brand be not cruelty free?. Thank you for all that you do. Janis
I was going to ask the same question. I can't find their cruelty free status anywhere.
DeleteC'Mon, Nonie Creme ...
DeleteShow Us The Bunny!
Those eye shadow palettes look so pretty! Hopefully the quality will be just as good as the price tags are!
ReplyDeleteThey had me at "eye shimmer"
ReplyDeleteNot to mention the beautiful butterfly wing packaging. I'd buy it just for that!
:::groans::: that packaging though!!! there you go G making us broke again...i definitely have to pick out some items from this collection...that foundation looks intriguing...
ReplyDeleteI actually really dislike the packaging. It makes me think of starter play makeup for a young girl. I like the idea of butterfly inspired packaging, I just don't think it was done very well. I also feel like a lot of the two-in-one type things seem a bit gimmicky.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how application would be on the nail polish with the whole wing thing going on. Also, I wonder if they'd fit in the Helmer... Maybe the butterfly wing pops off kind of like the butter london square cap pops off?
