Spotted: Essie Summer 2014 Neons Collection

The annual summer neons from Essie have arrived! You can see how this year's shades compare to last year's by clicking here. I think I might like this year's a bit more than last year's, although this year's shades don't seem quite as bright and neon-like (more on that in a moment).

I'm Addicted, Sittin' Pretty*

*NOTE: the first bottle above is NOT Sittin' Pretty, it is Play Date (permanent core shade). This actually helps because you can compare it to Sittin' Pretty, which is the one behind it. You can see that Sittin' Pretty is a bit cooler in tone than Play Date.

Vices Versa, Serial Shopper 

NOTE: The third bottle on the left is actually Mojito Madness (permanent core shade), so it's nice that you can compare it to Vices Versa.

Karen swatched these alone and over white, and they DEFINITELY become more neon-like when worn over a white polish (which was suggested with the Summer 2013 Neons as well--that collection even included a white polish in the display).
