NEW Maybelline Volum' Express Pumped Up! Colossal Mascara
(retail: around $7.99, 0.32 oz)
Many of you know that I adore the Colossal Volum' Express mascara (the original in the yellow tube) so you can be SURE that I'm going to try and review this one! This mascara comes in both waterproof and washable formulas, and there are at least two shades. Drugstore.com has two shades available: Glam Brown and Classic Black.

- Next up, my pal Halifax of Sparkled Beauty blog let me know that @makemeoverande on Instagram shared this sneak peek of the new Color Tattoo Leather Collection for Fall 2014. @makemeoverande is in Canada, but I'm guessing these will be coming to the US as well. There are five shades in this collection: Creamy Beige, Deep Forest, Vintage Plum, Chocolate Suede and Dramatic Black. I'll take one of each, please!
- Halifax also let me know that @makemeoverande shared this sneak peek of three new Expert Wear Eyeshadow Palettes (The Smokes, The Nudes and The Brights) which are scheduled for a fall release in Canada as well (hopefully we'll get them in the US at that time, too).
- Last but not least, reader Mai J sent me an email recently letting me know that, in Canada, there's a new Limited Edition Big Eyes Eyeliner out, which is double-ended (black on one end, white on the other). I don't have any pics to share (it was on the Maybelline Canada website but it's not there now), but perhaps this one will be coming to the US too? Mai J spotted it in a two-pack with the Big Eyes Mascara in an ad for Walmart Canada.

A friend and I just spotted some new Maybelline displays for Summer 2014--including two new Color Tattoo LE shades (Sunwashed Sky & Shimmering Sea)...which look at bit familar to some of last year's shades. There were also new LE eyeshadow quads, lipsticks, and nail polishes. Lots of bright & bold colors! I can send you some pictures, if you'd like.

At what store did you find the 2014 maybelline I was told there was only one color tattoo and didn't know anything about eyeshadow I would love for u to email me pictures just so I know what else to look for if you are willing I can get you my email address please please and thank you.

DeleteThanks I finally found the other one after calling many BB&B. From what I know there are 7 polishes, 6 elixars,2 whispers, 1 stick blush, 6 master liners,3 powder bronzers and 3 stick bronzers do you know if anything else so I can be on the hunt...no im not a mak up hoarder..ok yes I am LOL ...THANKS

ReplyDeleteBummer the Color Tattoos aren't matte. I wish Maybelline would release more. But I've had good luck with Maybelline mascaras so I will try the new version when I can get my hands on it (paired with a sale, of course).

ReplyDeleteI got 2 of the mascaras for a grand total of $.23 at CVS today - or I guess you could say they paid me $2.77 if you count the $3 ECB I got back. Had $13 ECB and the coupon lottery printed a 3/$15 mascara Q.
ReplyDeleteSearching for LE Color Tattoo's has really made me a pessimist. I saw the winter collection at one location (managed to get 2 out of the three colors) and haven't seen the spring collection. Luckily my boyfriend remembered that I have been searching high and low for some of the LE colors and he surprised me with one. All I'm saying is... I may cry if I can't get Vintage Plum

DeleteI'm a huge Maybelline mascara fan, but I tried the new Pumped Up version in waterproof today for the first time & it was awful! I've never been so embarrassed by my eye makeup before. There was so much black smudging under both of my eyes & this was supposed to be waterproof! I will stick to Maybelline's One by One or The Rocket from now on.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the Smokes and the Nudes will become a dupe for Naked. Looking at the picture it looks like it could for some of the shades.
ReplyDeleteI tried this mascara last night in waterproof and I hated the brush. It's way too large for my Asian lashes and made application difficult. I'd accidentally smudge my skin or eyes. Do not like.

ReplyDeleteBought this at my local CVS. OMG amazing results. does what it says and MORE. I will say the brush is rather large so you have to be careful, other than that makes your lashes look great!
