OPI coming to all US and Canada Sally Beauty stores
Huge thanks to reader @lovenailpolish3 on Twitter for being the first to alert me that Sally Beauty now sells OPI (she spotted a "Best Sellers" display at her local Sally store recently). Reader @rebellejess on Twitter also confirmed that the "Best Sellers" display is at her store right now and that there are 11 shades and 1 top coat in this display. If you're a Sally Beauty fan, hopefully your store has the "Best Sellers" display available now as well. And hopefully a full, permanent wall display is coming soon!
Also, Sally Beauty confimed on Twitter that OPI will be sold at all US and Canada Sally Beauty stores. As of the time of this post, OPI is not yet on the Sally website but you WILL be able to purchase OPI on their site soon (per Sally Beauty).
I'm very excited to see what the Sally Club member price will be on these (I'm assuming the non-member price is the standard $9). And I'm also excited by the prospect of OPI polishes possibly being part of the fabulous Sally Beauty 50% off red tag clearance sales in the future!
Thanks again, @lovenailpolish3, for bringing this one to my attention. amd @rebellejess for the info about the Best Sellers display!

awesome! Can't wait to see what shades they have in store!!
ReplyDeleteG! Great minds think alike! The first thing that came to my mind was the red tag clearance sales too! :D
ReplyDeleteHaha same here and the clearance baskets, oh boy I am in trouble...
DeleteThis is excellent news! Thanks! :D
ReplyDeleteI saw the best sellers display at my Sally's today as well, and noticed a new big display that was empty and sans signage, where I'm hoping more will go. I had hoped to inquire more, but the employees were MIA, as it always seems to be in my store.
ReplyDeleteAll the Sally's sales associates are usualy missing in the stores y me too! Do you recall the pricing for the OPI's?
DeleteI didn't catch the pricing, they weren't tagged yet. I'm going to be visiting again today and I'll let you know on any pricing/sales info I find out.
DeleteAmaazing news haha And yeah, red tag is definitely something to look forward to!
ReplyDeleteFINALLY! Such a great move on both Sally's and OPI's part. Can't wait til they hit my store. I wonder if they will be clearancing out a brand to make room for them?
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the display at my stores :) Also for OPI to be included in their sales :) Thanks G.
ReplyDeleteMy Sally's already has some OPI I noticed it the other day when I was there! I think it was their holiday collection. I'm not really sure because I noticed it on the way out the door!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited by this it's not even funny lol. But i'm pretty sure I just heard a little cry coming from my wallet LOL! So awesome that Sally's is finally going to carry OPI. Like a few others said, I also think it is a great move and opportunity for both companies.
ReplyDeleteThis is exciting for me, since my only access to OPI has been online.
ReplyDeletePerfect .. Just one more reason for my bank acct to go bust =D
ReplyDeleteIt'll be nice to get some OPI for a decent price offline :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely. And a lot closer to me than Ulta, the only place I can find them offline. My poor bank account!
DeleteI know this has nothing to do with Sally's , but I was at Target in Horn Lake yesterday and they had O.P.I nail polish for $4.00 bucks in the dallor part of the store. They had about five or six colors , I only picked up three of them. Idk if every Target is going to have them or not , but everyone who has access to a Target should keep a look out because four bucks isn't bad for O.P.I :)
ReplyDeleteNever seen them at any NorCal Targets here except the Nicole line, lucky find and a very good deal!
DeleteYeah it is! Maybe that means they will start getting them at every Target now , fingers crossed. They have started carrying NYX and I never thought that would happen.
DeleteTarget seemed to have stopped carrying OPI for a little while this year, but they resumed again recently. I don't know if the discounted OPIs have anything to do with that.
DeleteThey're 8.99 regular & 7.99 BCC. And we're getting the Gwen Stefani collection end of Dec or Jan I can't remember exactly.
ReplyDeleteI work at Sally's. ;)
Yay!
DeleteThat's great! I really like Sally and they know me by name there. I don't know if I should be concerned about that.
ReplyDeleteYAY! I am so happy! (:
ReplyDeleteReally? Hmm, even though I can get OPI at Target across from the Sally near me but who knows what would be sold there since not all stores carry the same.
ReplyDeleteAnd to the ones who said about MIA sales associates, it is the same way in my location and you need to go up front to check out to get one to help you out. And I thought WalMart was bad with MIA associates in the beauty section on some days.
Thanks for getting the word out to your readers, G! I'm glad that OPI will be more easily available for some of us beauty lovers! That said, I won't be purchasing OPI at Sally's because I have so many great nail supply places in my area that sell OPI for around $5. The only way it would be worth it for me is if there are OPI polishes included in the occasional red tag clearance sales at Sally's.
ReplyDeleteFYI, I recently did a post about 3 great nail supply stores in San Jose. If you or any of your readers plans to visit the the South Bay of CA and wants to find out more about some local nail supply stores, click through to my blog to find that post.
I asked at my store and they said that it will probably be at least six months before an expanded OPI section comes to Sally's, but they will be carrying the best seller's display and hopefully new collections as they come out. Pricing was 8.99, and 7.99 for those with a Sally's Card. They will be part of any clearance events that they will be applicable for, and coupons or other promotions will apply as well.
ReplyDeleteIn Canada - the display had 10 polishes, and a few other things, nothing was priced. I asked up at the till and they had to search them up individually, the bottles came out to 2.99!!! So I went back for more. It took the girls 20 mins to ring in 6 polishes -_- but.. They told me the new price, $12.59 :( so more expensive than most beauty places around here. But they said they have 12 boxes of polish in the back, so if they have sales, I know to go there now!
ReplyDeleteI don't know how long this deal is going, but if you guys want them, check out the "favorites" display ASAP!
I must be spoiled; lots of places by me sell OPI. It was fabulous, the other day a little non-chain beauty supply by me had Honey Ryder on sale for $4.50.
