Some of the new-for-2013 nail colors from Hard Candy at Walmart
A huge thank-you to reader Lisa Watt for this one! Lisa went to her local Walmart the other day and did some serious, detailed research about which Hard Candy nail polishes are no longer in the permanent display and which shades are brand new, and she was nice enough to share this info with us!
If you missed my original post from a few days ago, click here for pics and links to swatches of some of the brand new Hard Candy polishes.
Details, after the jump...
Lisa Watt writes:
Went to WallyWorld (Walmart) last night and spent some time making notes about the display:
There are two new glitter bombs: Emerald's Eve and Bridal Party (holo pink). The colors Hard Candy discontinued to fit them in the display are Fire Flash and Sparked Up.
The colors that Hard Candy discontinued to release Candy Coated, Jaw Breaker, Pop Rocker and Sweet Tart are: Cocoa S'more, Jelly Bean Blue, Peach Pop and Sugar Rush.
There are also two new Itsy Glitzy polishes: Bite of Black (similar to Butter London The Black Knight) and Touch of Teal. The two discontinued shades are Pinch of Spice and Shot of Lemon.
And finally, there is one new Chrushed Crome polish: Crush on Hot Pink. The discontinued shade is Crush on Copper.

Thanks SO much, Lisa, for taking the time to figure this all out for us. It is truly appreciated!
Wow! Thanks, Lisa! I know that is hard work to track all that info down. I will have to check out WM's (chaotic) clearance to see if those discontinueds show up there.
ReplyDeleteLooks like there is a close Deborah Lippmann dupe in the new polish releases! (not my blog)

Thank you! What a ton of work you put into this Lisa. Glad I got the Copper one ages ago-it was one of the few I was very drawn to. :)
