Maybelline Fit Me Gel Stick Foundation for $5.99 this week at Target and Walmart

I have heard some very good things about the Maybelline Fit Me Gel Stick Shine-Free Foundation. I haven't tried it myself yet, but that's probably going to change this week.  Keep reading for the details...

  • At Walmart, the everyday price of the Fit Me Gel Stick Foundation is $6.94, so with this coupon, you'll pay $5.94.

I've seen this foundation retail for $8.99 at drugstores, Ulta, etc., so that's a nice savings. I just wanted to share, in case you've been wanting to try this one too. And if you have already tried this foundation, I would LOVE to hear your thoughts about it!

  2. it's pretty good. it is kind of small but I think it's an acceptable value for the price. I just use it on days when I want a little bit of coverage, and sheer it out with a damp brush. it's very buildable so it could be used for fuller coverage as well. i wish it had better oil control but I could say that about anything. what I really like about stick foundations is they are compact and travel-friendly because you can throw them in a purse without worrying about spillage. a lot of times they can double as concealer as well. they're also easy to apply--swipe some on, smooth it out with fingers (or a brush) and voila.

  3. OH I can't wait for your review. I have seen so many mixed reviews and I want to try it but IDK. I might just so oh well and go get it. Right now I'm loving my L'Oreal powder liquid foundation that I got for 4 bucks at my Kroger grocery store. IDK why they were on clearance in those shades but I got 3 bottles and love it! Sorry for my rant. Love your blog!

  4. I have figured out that a primer is a must for this! But the application is fast and easy and I like that you can get different coverage depending on how much you put on. Shine control for me is actually pretty good...I top it off with Neutrogena's Shine Control Powder for extra insurance. The tube if used daily doesn't seem like it will last as long like other foundations might. But the price makes that not such a big deal!

  5. Maybelline had something similar to this about 15 years ago that I remember using in Jr high/high school. If this is anything like that one, I will probably love it!

    1. Yes!!! I loved it too! So sad when they dC it. It was called maybelline express and Sarah Michelle Gellar was the spokes person.

  6. I tried it and initially loved it. However , it didn't keep me shine free and started to accentuate my pores and didn't last very long.

  7. I love it. It blends very easily and is buildable as well that being said its not 100% coverage but its still decent. My new favorite go to product

  8. I got it and I like it. I have very oily skin and it does an ok job of keeping the glaring oiliness under control. I found that you must "draw" it on and then buff it in with your fingers. Using tools of any sort seem to defeat its limited oil control feature. It's fast and easy if you don't need a lot of coverage.

  9. I love it as a concealer! So easy! I probably can't speak for its don't control abilities only b/c thanks to humid mn summers I use a shine control primer, this on my t zone, either the immaculate hourglass matte foundation, or make up forevers matte foundation, urban decay s shine control spray, then a shine control finishing powder LOL. But on a few casual weekend occasions I have used just this on a few spots with a finishing powder w/ great results! This is the first drugstore face product I have bought in a long while (at the recommendation of a sephora consultant after inquiring about oil control, over any expensive product they had there) and am super glad I did! Love it!

  10. I would love this foundation if it didn't turn a funky color on me. It is one color when I first put it on and a completely different color a little while later. I guess it just doesn't work well with my personal chemistry.

  11. I usually use Lancome tinted foundation but I tried the Maybelline and really like it. It's not greasy, goes on almost powdery and has great lasting power on my skin. There was an offer to get a free sample somewhere on the internet but I've lost the URL.

  12. I love this foundation. It is so easy to use, evens out my skin without looking overdone and the lightest color 101 (I think) actually matches my paleness. I use it over a primer, with a little mineral veil over it and it stays most of the day. It also doesn't break me out like the Bobbi Brown foundation stick did. If they ever discontinue it I'm going to be very sad.

  13. Target's sample spot has a Fit Me Stick foundation sample!! I don't know if it's full size or not, but you might as well try it out!(:
