Have you spotted these in your area yet? Do you already own any of these shades? I would love to know how you think they compare to the other tinted balms currently on the market.
Thanks so much, KD, for the great sighting and pic! I really appreciate it!
I sorta want one of these now! Based on the website pics, either Paris Pink or Tokyo Orange... of course, my lip collection is so big I shouldn't be adding to it, but whatever! =)
ReplyDeleteI have seen this display in HEB grocery stores as well.
ReplyDeleteSo I have these in the London nude and the Tokyo orange and while they do help moisturize the lips,I wouldn't say they work on lips that are already badly chapped.but if you only need to keep the lips moist and supple they work great. Coverage is moderate but subtle enough.
ReplyDeleteAs mentioned, if your lips are dry or cracked or flaky in any way the color in these balms will only accentuate the problem.Great for the price. Mild scent hard to put my finger on but pleasant and no flavor i could detect. One pet peeve is that the produst does not swivel all the wy down in side the tube so about a quarter of an inch is left sticking out which could make a mess or break off if not careful, but the cap itself stays on nice and secure because the tube has these little nubs that keep it locked in place pretty well so no worries about the top coming of in your bag or whatever.I really love the london nude far everyday as it has a nice satiny natural sheen to it.the color and texture of the product lasts a fair amount of time but you will need to reapply a few times daily .Won't survive eating or drinking either of course but great fun product for the price.
They're now available at walgreens in their stocking stuffer area for $2.
ReplyDeleteI just picked one of these up on clearance at Walgreens. I definitely give them a thumbs up. I think they are supposed to be comparable to products like Maybelline Baby Lips. My balm is nice and hydrating with a strong pop of color. They don't have any detectable flavor, but the scent is the only thing I would warn people about. For me, it's very reminiscent of a very artificial grape flavor, so people who are sensitive to smell might not enjoy these balms.
