Sorry this is going up a little late this week...I had some home repair issues that are now (thankfully) fixed so it's back to blogging as usual today!

Have you ever had your makeup done by a professional makeup artist? If so, tell us a bit about the experience(s).
G's answer: The most memorable experience I've ever had was many years ago when I was at a department store (Neiman Marcus, I think) and I went to check out Chantecaille, which was brand new at the time. Sylvie Chantecaille herself was there behind the counter and I not only got to speak with her about her brand, but she offered to do my makeup! I was freaking out, to say the least. To have the owner of a brand pick things based on your skintone and actually apply them to your face is one of those "You're never going to believe what just happened to me" types of experiences and it's something I'll never forget.

I've only ever had my makeup done by a makeup professional once. Unfortunately, it was for a friend's wedding, so the day was so hectic and stressful, I couldn't tell you one detail about my makeup that day!
