HIGHLIGHTS, TIDBITS AND NEWS
CVS shoppers: This week when you spend $10 on any L'Oreal foundation, powder, blush, concealer, or eye cosmetic you get $3 back in Extra Bucks. If you use the $2 off L'Oreal face cosmetic coupon (link above) you will only have to spend $8 out of pocket to qualify for the $3 Extra Bucks. There's another great Revlon nail polish deal this week: ALL Revlon nail colors (excluding Nail Art) are $4.99 each and you get $3 back in Extra Bucks, making your final price $1.99. The best part is that the limit on this deal is 6, which means you can buy six polishes for $29.49 and receive $18 back in Extra Bucks (final price after rewards for six bottles of polish: $11.94). And just a reminder that the CVS Beauty Clearance Sale is still going on.
Rite Aid shoppers: I gave you the heads-up about this deal last week, so here's your reminder: This week ALL Revlon cosmetics are 40% off, and there's a $2 off Nearly Naked Video Values coupon here. You can stack this coupon with the $2 off Revlon face cosmetics coupon (link is in the coupon section above) to receive a total of $4 off a Revlon Nearly Naked foundation or face powder. Let's say those products are $9.99 each in your area (prices vary in different regions). With the 40% off deduction, that brings the price down to $6. And then with those two coupons, your final price out of pocket for a Nearly Naked foundation or powder will be $2. Sweet! There's also a $1 off Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Suede Lipstick coupon (link above) that you can use during this 40% off sale too. All NYC cosmetics are BOGOFREE this week, AND when you spend $5 you get $2 back in +UP Rewards (UPDATE: see my comment down below for the break-down on this offer!).
Walgreens shoppers: This week the following products are $7.99 each: L'Oreal True Match foundation, concealer, blush or powder, Voluminous False Fiber Lashes or Telescopic Shocking Extensions mascara or Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream. If you use the coupons I linked to above, you'll get an additional $2 off one these face cosmetics and/or $1 off one of these mascaras. Not beauty-related but several of you have requested that I mention whenever this sale returns: this week Purex Crystals are BOGOFREE. Also non-beauty related but worth a mention: Patriot Jar Candles are BOGOFREE this week (3 oz and 18 oz). A reminder that for the month of July, Walgreens is running another $0.69 Wet n Wild promotion (products with a regular retail price of $0.99 are on sale for $0.69). You can see what the display looks like here. And just a reminder that the July coupon book is now in stores (free) and there are some good Revlon coupons this month, as well as a Sally Hansen Diamond Strength coupon (these polishes are BOGO1/2OFF this week). Click here to see the full list of coupons in this month's book.
SALES FOR WEEK OF 7/14 - 7/20

I'm confused about the bogofree for NYC products. So let's say i buy a bunch of products from nyc that totals up to $10, wouldn't the cashier ring up the price by the highest cost of product? So it wouldn't really make it $5 out of pocket. Sorry, i'm new to this.
ReplyDeleteGood points! I was assuming you'd buy equal-value products (which I always try to do for BOGOFREE sales to maximize my savings). But now that I think about it, you are absolutely right--you'd have to spend a bit more out of pocket, even if you just bought $0.99 items, because you'd have to buy 12 of them to get the BOGOFREE on *all* of them.
DeleteSo let me work that out, just so I'm clear on it:
Buy 12 $0.99 items
Total before sale: $11.88
Total after BOGOFREE discount: $5.94 (OUT OF POCKET)
Final price after rewards: $3.94
So yeah, you're spending $0.94 more than I originally calculated.
But remember that you can do TWO separate transactions (limit is 2 on the +UP offer) so if you wanted to buy some $1.99 or $2.99 items, just bundle those up in the second transaction (and use your +UP Rewards from the first transaction to help pay for the second transaction).
Hope that helps, and thanks for bringing that to my attention!
Eos shave cream?!? That sounds interesting- I'm a huge fan of this brand!!
ReplyDeleteLOL! Yep, it's been around since 2010 and goes on sale A LOT at Walgreens and CVS. I mention it here every time it goes on sale--sorry that you've missed all of my other sale updates about it! :(
DeleteI reviewed it way back in 2010 if you want to see my thoughts on it (I didn't care for it but I know a lot of people love it):

Hi G! I wanted to let you know that I bought a Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation for $2.52 from $9.99 at RiteAid! Thanks for informing about the 2 coupons :D I get to finally try this out, however, it's just too hot in NYC right now to wear foundation...hehehe
DeleteI'm looking foward to riteaid tomorrow! I don't think I can stack the 2 coupons I have but I will def be getting the nearly naked foundation thanks :)
ReplyDeleteAs long as one is a store coupon and one is a manufacturer's coupon, you can stack them!
DeleteI just started researching the nearly naked foundation today and then came across this. It is my first time on your blog and I can say I am definitely going to be a regular subscriber! I live for bargains, and two dollars for the Revlon foundation is absolutely amazing. Thank you!!!
ReplyDeleteAwwww, thank you SO much! And welcome!! :D
Deletewhen i click ANY of the video values it says this coupon is not available...help?
ReplyDeletethanks!
Do you use ad-blocking software? If so, you'll need to disable in order to watch!!!
Deleteahh, that would explain it. thanks so much! <3
DeleteSorry if I'm misunderstanding something (I'm new to using coupons), but the deal on Revlon nail polish at CVS confuses me, specifically the part about the total being $11.94. Aren't Extra Bucks supposed to be applied toward future purchases? So if you bought 6 nail polishes, you would have to actually spend $29.94 and get $18 Extra Bucks for another purchase, right? Or if you decided to you wanted to do 6 separate transactions, the first bottle of nail polish would still be $4.99, but you could get the other 5 for $1.99?
ReplyDeleteI think maybe you missed the part where I said "AFTER REWARDS." The calculations for these scenarios are always after the rewards deduction, which yes, you spend on your next transaction. Hope that clears it up for you!
Deletei never go into riteaid and found one just a couple minutes from my house and picked up my foundation for $2 +tax yay! i did good too cuz thats all i brought lol thank u so much :)
