Spotted at Big Lots: Zoya, OPI, China Glaze and Essie

I honestly can't even believe this myself. In fact, I even asked reader Lyn, who told me she spotted ZOYA polishes at Big Lots recently, for photographic evidence! Not that I didn't believe her, of course, but I knew that we all would want to see those little orange price tags with our own eyes! And she kindly obliged:

China Glaze, Essie and Zoya nail colors from Big Lots
(Big Lots price: $1 and $2)

It goes without saying that China Glaze, Essie and Zoya polishes retail for around $8 each (China Glaze can be found for less at Sally, I know). But still! $1 and $2? My head is kind of exploding as I write this!

Zoya Lara, China Glaze Admire, Essie Aruba Blue

Lara said her Big Lots also had some other deep greens and reds from Zoya, but that her store in particular had lots and lots of Lara (I've noticed that some stores seem carry a lot of one color of something--polish, lipstick, etc. while other stores may carry another color. It pays to visit multiple locations!).

Lyn also said that in addition to China Glaze Admire, she found Harmony as well. And in addition to Essie Aruba Blue, she also spotted Coat Azure and also a deep green shade.

Reader Georgianna spotted two OPI displays at her Big Lots and was kind enough to share a pic:

OPI Black Satin ($2.25) and Super Bass Shatter ($1.80) polishes at Big Lots

Full displays of OPI for about two bucks a pop? Yes, please!

Readers on Twitter, Instagram, etc. have told me that they've spotted OPI displays at their Big Lots stores recently, so I hope this is a widespread thing! Like I always say, you NEVER know what you will find at your local Big Lots until you get there, so my advice to you is get your little booties over to your nearest Big Lots locations ASAP and see what you can find. Deals like this don't come around every day and I don't want you to miss out!

Another HUGE thanks to Lyn and Georgianna for the awesome (and I do mean awesome) sightings and pics. I really appreciate it!

  2. Cote Azure? That's my all time favorite Essie polish! But sadly, though I live only about a half mile from a Big Lots, mine never seems to get all the good stuff you post about. I've gotten a little lucky going to a different store thirty minutes away, but it blows to have one so close, but with such a messy, gross cosmetics aisle that never has much of anything.

  3. Was just at Big Lots yesterday. Of course, these weren't there. I think I would fall over from shock if I saw OPI, Essie or China Glaze at Big Lots! I guess i'm going to have to stalk some of the other Big lots in town :D. Thanks for the tip!!

  7. Yep, definitely going to Big Lots tomorrow! I hope I'm able to find Lara. I'm actually not that big a fan of the color but I feel the need to buy it because it's cheap and probably as close to my name as a Zoya polish is going to get! :)

  8. Holy! I thought it was a big deal when I found Nicole by OPI at my Big Lots, but ZOYA?! :O!!!! I'll have to keep an eye out now!

  9. Oh wow! I really want to find some Zoyas. Tomorrow I will start the hunt! I also saw on the Marshalls facebook page that they started a mani-pedi event today, so I'm gonna go to Marshalls and see what they have as well.

  10. I found OPI Gold & Silver Shatters at my Big Lots... sadly no Essie or China Glaze, but a TON of Revlon Top Speeds and normal polishes for $1.

  11. I never find anything exciting at my Big Lots, so I would be totally surprised if I were to see China Glaze and OPI polishes. I'll have to go there someday to see for myself.

  12. Mine never seems to have the good stuff, but a chance at some Zoya might get me to the Big Lots tomorrow!

  15. I scored Essie Stylenomics at Big Lots today. It was literally the only Essie polish they had and I had to dig for it in a bin! I also got a 2-pack of Revlon Scented Polish for $2. My Lots also had the Eco Tools Alicia Silverstone sets, but no Zoya, OPI or China Glaze polish to be found. I did score a 6-pack of winter vanilla Dove soap for $4.

  18. I found the breast cancer pink shatters at big lots. Also quite a few different Julie G's. I believe some of the Christmas colors from last year. Along with the snowman polish bottles and magnetic Sinfuls. Oh! and Smoking Hot from Sinful. That's a really old color, right??

  19. I found the 5 pc eco Alecia Silverstone brush set...plus additional makeup bags as well. Large and small coordinating makeup bags from $3-5.

  20. I was able to find OPI Black Satin and OPI Pink Shatter at my local big lots. They had maybe 3 of each? And that was it lol ^_^;; No Zoyas for me. I am happy to pick up Black Satin though, very pretty. Not to mention a total steal at $1.80!

  21. I know Big Lots almost consistently has the Revlon two packs, but I really scored. I went to check out this tip and instead of finding any Essie or Zoya I found Revlon Girly packaged with an orange crackle for two dollars. Didn't want the crackle at all, but it was nice to save a few bucks since I never sprung for Girly at the drug store :]

  23. Need to go but need the time! I just purchased some Shatter OPI shades from Ebay in a three bottle set of black, gold, and silver and it's my first time using OPI.

  24. I just did a run-through of all my nearby Big Lots, and I saw: OPI Shatters in Gold glitter, silver glitter, and a fuschia pink shade (blanking on the name). Also, the OPI topcoat, 1 bottle. (did not buy; I am married to my Seche Vite). I did purchase: two SH Magnetics polishes for 1.60 each: Kinetic Copper and Electric Emerald. I've been wanting to try these forever, so HOW FUN!!

  25. I WAS DIRECTED HERE BY FATE. I just want you to know that. The two NYC polishes, the light blue ones? I bought LITERALLY those two polishes, together, yesterday. So I'm on another blog, and I see those polishes all posing together, so I'm like, oh okay I guess I'll check this site out since I'm PSYCHICALLY CONNECTED TO IT. In the sidebars, then, is this very post. And Essie Aruba blue is a color I've wanted for a minute but can't justify dropping 8 bones on a nail polish when I bite the sh out of my nails anyway. So, um, I'm going to Big Lots like, now, and I'll let ya'll know how it goes because I know you're all just riveted. Thanks for the 'tip'! Ha!
