Do any of you remember the Pure Ice Black Light Top Coat that showed up briefly at Walgreens back in Spring 2012? I actually didn't remember it when Brie sent me this photo (she just spotted it at Walmart the other day).
So I googled it and my own darned blog post came up! Turns out, reader Davina used this polish to create the look she submitted for my Easter 2012 Reader Nail Art Round-Up here. More googling showed me that another blogger mentioned finding this at Walgreens back April of 2012 as well.
Fast-forward to today and it's now popping up at Walmart:

I found it and snagged it right up. I will give it to my niece who goes to school dances that are neon or black-light themed.
ReplyDeleteDoes it REALLY glow? I only want it if it actually will glow. I like stuff that illuminates under a blacklight; I have hair dye that does that and the effect actually lasts (unlike Splat!'s blacklight kits).
