Preview: Wet n Wild Nude Awakening vs. Urban Decay Naked Palette

I just wanted to give you a quick look at one of the photos in my soon-to-be-published in-depth review of the Wet n Wild Spring 2013 Limited Edition Nude Awakening Palette (which will include an extensive comparison to the Urban Decay Naked Palette):

This is just one side of the Wet n Wild palette--there are more dupes on the other side...

I've been working on this blog post for over a week now, but I'm almost done so it should be up tomorrow (I also bought the Going In The Wild palette but will review that one in a separate post).

Please stay tuned...

PS: A huge thanks to several of you for your photo submissions and swatch pics of these LE palettes. I wish I could publish them all, but I'm extremely behind on posts in general (which is why it's taken me so long to review these palettes myself). I'm so sorry about that!

  1. It's so nice to see some makeup reviews that aren't ridiculously high-end products!

  13. That was my first thought when I saw this palette! Naked.
I have never had a more affordable lemming in my life! Lol.
I have Naked 2 and Naked Basics, but just can't shell out the cash for the original, ESP. Since I have so many comparable shades... But this. This I can do. My search continues! Can't wait to see your comparison post! I know it's only going to make me more determined! :)

  14. Still haven't had any luck finding these palettes in Miami, FL, and I have to wonder if my area just isn't going to get them. I'm getting to the point where I will happily offer to pay someone to pick them up and mail them to me.

  18. Excited to see this blog post! I can never seem to find wet n' wild things in my town, especially the limited edition stuff since. It's always hard to find new makeup products in Canada!

  19. I really hope that is a dupe for buck. Buck and halfbaked are my favorites from the naked pallete and I have already hit pan on buck and can't bring myself to spend $18 for one eyeshadow.

  20. I've been stalking all of my drugstores looking for this palette! I wonder if it'll ever come...The colors are so gorgeous! This would be amazing to get my hands on because all I ever wear is neutrals, and I don't own either of the Naked palettes.

  27. I'm getting so sick of these drugstore LE releases that are nigh-impossible to locate in many places. It's 2013, why is this stuff not available for sale online anywhere? Why is it so hit-or-miss which stores get which new displays and releases? I'm fed up. Mostly because none of the stores in my city of ~70k ever seem to get new products before they've been out for 6+ months already and limited edition products and displays? Forget it. Not happening. :(
