Essence Limited Edition Fruity Collection has landed in the US

The Limited Edition Essence Fruity Collection came out in 2012 in Europe, and when I first saw the press info for it (click here for all the details) I went a little crazy. A pink-red blush with a "sorbet texture," pastel mousse eyeshadows, peach and cherry lip balms, fimo fruit nail art, a strawberry-scented top coat and sparkly pastel nail polishes? All in ONE collection?

Reader Anon spotted this display recently at Fred Meyer (retailer exclusive to the Pacific Northwest) and was nice enough to share some pics:

I really, really hope this collection shows up at Ulta soon. If you've spotted it there, or at HEB (I know Essence is sold at HEB in Texas too), please do let us know! Once again, you can find all of the details about the products in this collection here.

Thanks again, Anon, for the heads-up and great pics! I really appreciate it!

  3. Essence offers some nice products at great prices, but I wish the parent company (Cosnova GMBH) would find a US distributor for its other line, Catrice (http://www.catrice.eu/products.html). The products look awesome and the selection appears to be larger. Same low price point, too.

  4. Top rights, beside the nail polishes... They look like multiples but can't be. Do you know what they are?

  6. Someone swatched the Kiwi green one, and it was super cute. Hope it's at Ulta since I have no Fred Meyer stores around where I live.

  7. Have you ever done a review on any essence products before? What types of products from essence would you suggest?

  10. Found this about 2 weeks ago at Fred Meyers! Picked up a lip balm and one of the eyeshadow sorbets. I've really like both products, te lip balm has a delicious cherry scent. The cream shadow is a very interesting texture, I'm thinking it's about the same as the drew barrymore flower cream shadows. It's pretty, not much color payoff but the shimmer in it us really nice! I also like the staying power. I looked at the blush, and the texture is te same as the cream, not solid and very loose. I questioned the staying power so I did not purchase it. After using the eyeshadow and seeing the staying power, I think I might pick it up!

  11. I surprised myself by only picking up one Eyeshadow Sorbet (shade 02.) (I think because I'd given up seeing this collection in the US and already purchased other things to fill that void in my life- hah!) The nail colors are very nice though, and I keep re-testing the lip balms so I might go back for those...
The blush IS really longlasting (I could still see where I tested on the back of my hand a good six hours later) but I REALLY disliked the scent. Extremely fake and...off. Maybe the tester had spoiled?

  12. Hey everyone! Anyone live near a Fred Meyer? I live in California and there aren't any here. I would really like to get my hands on a few of these polishes, I've been lemming over them for nearly a year now! If anyone can help me, I would greatly appreciate it :) <3 Alyssa

  13. I think I'd have to get a job at Ulta to get in on any of these. By the time I find them there, they are all gone! Too bad they don't get in two displays. I bet they'd sell out of all of them too.

  14. I bought all four polishes today: pink milki with red glitter, green milki with green glitter, pale orange milki and frosty pastel yellow milki. The blush smelled like a scratch n sniff sticker and I really wanted it because the texture was amazing. When I sampled it on the back of my hand though, it was streaky to blend and trying to smooth it out left it with no pigmentation, only shimmer and scent. I didn't notice much pigmentation or smell from the shadows. But the texture is amazing! Cool, dry and jellyish
