I'm so excited to see that this new crop of drugstore BB creams contains higher SPF than the original crop (most have been SPF15). The new Physicians Formula BB Cream I showed you earlier today is SPF30 and this new one from Rimmel is SPF25. Reader Danielle recently spotted this display at her local Walgreens and was nice enough to share:

Light, Medium, Medium/Dark
(hopefully the empty spot in the display will contain a Dark shade)
If you've seen this display, please confirm for us if you've seen fourth shade in Dark? Thanks!
Thanks so much, Danielle, for the great sighting and pics!
Now this makes me want to compare this and Iman's BB Creme as Iman's has colors for women of color and Rimmel took the time to think about women of color and make for dark and darker women. I like this! :)
ReplyDeleteThe fourth shade is dark. I picked up medium this weekend can say that is has more of the BB cream texture than Maybelline or L'Oreal's BB creams, but not as much as a true BB cream like the one from Missha. I have been using it as a primer and am loving it.
ReplyDeleteI'm excited to see Rimmel has a BB cream but I think it's funny these companies keep trying to top each other...7 in 1, 8 in 1, now 9 in 1, haaa!
ReplyDeleteThere are so many new things to try that I don't know where to start! I'm really interested in all of the new BB and CC creams.
ReplyDeleteI just got this in the lightest shade and really like it; probably my favorite of the US BB's so far that I've tried. They (Walgreens) had the new Revlon one too but I wasn't shelling out almost 15 bucks for it full price, esp if this Rimmel continues to perform so nicely! Good shade match for me (NC20, 2nd to lightest in most brands), covers more than most, not greasy, lasts all day, no irritation/breakouts, no weird scent or texture, good price AND spf? FtW :) This is the first Rimmel product that I've liked so it was a huge leap of faith for me.
ReplyDeleteFourth is dark. I got mine in Light out of a full display.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen those yet at my Walgreen's. I'm wishing though!
ReplyDeleteThanks for confirming there is a dark ladies!
ReplyDeleteI recommend G! I think this performs so much better & it is a lot thicker than other drugstore bb creams!
ReplyDeleteFor fair ladies like me, the Light shade isn't going to be light enough. I almost picked it up today, but there was an open one so I swatched a tiny bit on the inside of my wrist--way, way too dark and yellow. At least I saved myself $7. (For reference, I'm NW15 or lighter for MAC, always the lightest shade in any foundation selection.)
