Physicians Formula Super BB Powder
Have you spotted/purchased anything from this new PF collection yet? Thoughts?
Thanks so much for the great sighting and pics, Pam!
Doesn't look like they have a lot of shades. Pity. I haven't found a single drugstore BB cream that can match my skintone.
ReplyDeleteThese are now listed on Physicians Formula's website, if you want to check out the ingredients. They also have some other new products listed, such as the: Bronze Booster Glow-Boosting Airbrushing Bronzing Veil Deluxe Edition and the cutest bronzer ever that is loose little heart shaped pebbles.
ReplyDeleteLooks interesting, but unfortunately as usual they don't have shades for darker skin tones like mine. :( Still waiting for one that works for me.
ReplyDeleteI bought the BB Cream last week and I actually really really like it. I've tried pretty much every single drugstore bb cream out there and this is the only one that doesn't make me look like a) a greasball b) an orange mess c) no different than when I put it on. It's got pretty decent wear time, a good amount of coverage that is buildable to a degree and it's got kind of a demi-matte finish. The color adjust is a bit off (especially when building), but that really seems to be the only formula flaw. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't like the packaging... BTW I saw today Neutrogena's Chubby Stick in a lot of different shades!
ReplyDeleteWhile I'm always thrilled to see new face products (particularly multitasking products like BB and CC creams) it's more than a bit irritating that drugstore brands seem to ignore the lightest (me) and darkest ends of the spectrum. I can never find a drugstore brand face product that matches my super-snow-pale skin.
ReplyDeleteI just purchased the cream and powder from Rite Aid - both had $3 off coupons and then $10 extra bucks when you purchase $15 PF this week. I have had good luck with PF face products in the past, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that these will be good.
ReplyDeleteThat $3 off instant coupon makes for a very good deal.
ReplyDeleteI love PF and I HAVE to have these!!! I have been using Asian bb creams but I might have to try American bb now. Hope I can find these!
ReplyDeleteThis is exciting. I can't wait to see reviews of these products!
ReplyDeleteI saw this one at CVS too along with PF's new Sexy Booster Collection!
ReplyDeleteDo you think you will review the BB Cream, G?
I found these this morning at Rite Aid, I bought one of each which worked out great with the current Right aid sale plus the $3 off each coupon. My daughter tried it and LOVED them! I love the packaging! It kinda stinks that there are only 2 dif colors. the light/Med is pretty dark! I am on the fair side, but it was a bit dark for me. My daughter if half Puerto Rican and it was the prefect color for her.
ReplyDeleteLove the disco-tastic packaging! I need to grab one of these while they have the $3 off coupon for sure.
ReplyDeleteI was really hoping that these two shades were just an intial offering and that they would have others listed on their website. Nope. And look how they have it categorized: "tinted moisturizer". Crap. I'm still holding out hope for Drew Barrymore's 'Flower' line BB cream, but I won't be surprised if that one turns out to be a too-good-to-be-true fairy tale too :-(

The FLOWER brand BB cream is very nice. Again, it is not the real Asian BB cream, but it really does a great job at controling the oil and making the face look flawless. I find that mixing a typical Asian BB cream with the FLOWER brand one gives me the perfect color, plus the SPF. For girls who have olive/yellow undetone skin FLOWER BB would be perfect. However, by mixing the two BB creams together you get the best effects from both products (brightening/whitening plus SPF perks from the Asian brand and oil control/eveness from the Flower BB cream). If you have dry/dry combo skin, I suggest mixing the FLOWER BB cream with a moisturizer (best if it contains SPF) to thin out the texture and make it more comfortable on the skin, since it WILL make your skin drier (oil control again). Overall, I am very impressed with this BB cream and will definitelly purchase again.
Deletethe BB powder looks pretty interesting, but my local CVS only had it in Medium and Deep, so no match for me :(
ReplyDeleteTHE BB POWDER IS UNBELIEVABLE!! I have the cream also and it's just as good - just don't wear together - my personal preference - the powder over your moisturizer - LOVE THESE PRODUCTS!!!
