A huge thanks to reader Annette for this one! Today only (Friday 9/28) on the Sephora Facebook page, "like" them here and you'll have access to download a new app called Wrapp (if you don't have a smartphone that's ok--you'll be asked to connect using your Facebook account):

From there, you'll be taken to the Wrapp website for further instructions.

ReplyDeleteWorked for me! Also, the iPhone app Gyft was (is?) giving away $5 Sephora gift cards when you download/join. My husband sent me his so now I have $20 in Sephora-y goodness. Planning on purchasing the new Urban Decay Vice Palette.
ReplyDeleteToo funny that I was actually just at Sephora. And the first thing I do when I get home is check in on Nouveaucheap! Now I'm frantically trying to get the $10 giftcard, because you know I can easily go back to Sephora tomorrow and use the $10. Clearly I'm obsessed today! I hope this works. There is a message on Wrapp's facebook page saying you can email support@wrapp.com with your email address so they can get a giftcard to you once they've fixed their poor overwhelmed servers. Hey, we love sephora, what can we say?
ReplyDeleteI noticed while claiming the offer that for 'desktop' users, the giftcard is said to be used 'online' while the smartphone instructions mention 'online' and 'in store.' I wasn't sure if that were really the case, but when I finally accessed my wallet I noticed that when I clicked the giftcard, it said 'online' in blue underneath. Can desktop users really only use this giftcard online? 'Cause that would suck, considering I don't want to pay shipping lol.
ReplyDeleteIf you download the Wrapp app on your phone it will give you the option to use it in store. I just connected with my Facebook and the Sephora card I got on my computer displayed in the app. :)
DeleteIt took some time & patience but I was finally able to get mine, I used it on Tarte's Lipsurgence holiday set! Wrapp customer service seems to be good, just overwhelmed so don't give up hope if you haven't gotten yours yet!

ReplyDeleteIt looks like if you claim it on your desktop you can only use it online. I had to download the Wrapp app to my smartphone to be able to use it in the store.

ReplyDeleteIf you download the Wrapp app to your phone, it gives you the option to send $5 Sephora gift cards to your facebook friends. They have to download the app also to claim it, but they can send you one back too! I don't think there is a limit to how many of these gift cards you can use in one transaction. I entered four different codes (1 $10 and 3 $5) at checkout and it took all of them!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info. Ended up getting the Tarte Lipsurgence. I love the Revlon version. They were out of it last year so figured I wouldn't wait for f and f sale. Plus used my points for a dior addict set.
