If you were lucky enough to sign up for the the most recent Target Beauty Bag back in May (a free bag full of beauty products, samples and coupons that Target offers about three times a year), then you MAY have received your bag this week. Based on the feedback I received when I posted about this bag, I think a lot of Nouveau Cheap readers were able to get it, so yay!
This bag is no longer available, but if you'd like to know what others have received in their bags, to compare it to what YOU got, you're in luck!

I believe that you can get the same beauty bag if you purchase some cosmetics on the website I know Cos-Bar's items were one of the few items you could buy to receive it. Go to the cosmetics section and you can click to see the qualified items to purchase to receive the bag. Sadly, I was hoping that there would have been a mascara as portrayed in the ad.
I got the exact same things too. And I'm happy/sad about the revlon lip butter sample. I currently own three shades of the lip butters (berry smoothie, strawberry shortcake, cotton candy) and I was thinking about getting peach parfait, but the sample has A LOT of glitter in it, which I'm not too fond of. So I'm happy because I didn't spend money on a shade I wouldn't like, but sad since peach parfait seemed so pretty on online swatches. Does anyone have any recommendations on the next shade I should buy?

Mine was slightly different. Instead of the Aveeno scrub, I got a pair of sample of Aveeno Living Color shampoo and conditioner for medium-thick hair. And I only got the TRESemme shampoo sample and no conditioner :(
This is my first ever Target Beauty Bag, thanks to this blog! I've been a long time reader but this is my first time posting! I really like this bag a lot but I haven't used all the samples yet. I really didn't like the lip butter because Peach Parfait isn't my color.

Ugh! I haven't gotten my bag yet but I am about to quit signing up for these things. I know they're free but seriously why so many shampoo samples? Everything else looks great but just tired of shampoo samples.

I don't think they've ever sent shipping confirmations for these, but based on previous bags, the shipments come in waves, with the west coast usually last to get them.
Aaaw, sorry you don't like hair care samples. I LOVE them because it's a great way for me to try things before committing to a full size purchase. I've been wanting to try that tresemme formula for a while now, so i'm really regretting not signing up for the bag this time! Lol!

I got the same contents that Chu Chu did - this is my second bag and I'm really happy! I was looking at the Aveeno scrub the other day - I'm glad I didn't buy it. I love all the shampoo/conditioner samples - when I travel I never know if the hotel will have a conditioner or not, so the sample size is great for trips. I am hooked and look forward to the next one! Thanks so much to introducing me to such a great freebie!

It's silly but of all of the beauty bags I've got, I've liked the bags themselves better than anything that's come in them. :-)
I got mine & it has all the same stuff. I like what came in this bag much better than the last (a couple of things irritated my face). I love the lip butter & the suntan lotion & scrubs are a nice change. I'm getting a bit tired of shampoo samples too, but I have really short hair so I don't go through them very fast or switch up what I use much. I'd love to see mini hair products in the future, like small hair gels or tiny pots of pomade. That would be cool.
Nice to "meet" you too! The color looked a little orange on me but I'm glad I finally got to try a lip butter, I like the texture and the feel of the lip butter but need to try a different color. This blog is really helpful to me especially with those weekly sales post, I've gotten some good deals at CVS thanks to you!
I got my bag today (well, technically yesterday now), and I got the exact same stuff. I'm not particularly thrilled with the hair products, if only because I already have some that work perfectly for me. Still, they're nice to have. I was actually quite happy to get the Lip Butter sample in Peach Parfait since I've considered buying it in the past but wasn't sure it would work well with my complexion. I really appreciate the sunscreen sample since I'm photosensitive and am always looking for the perfect protection for my face.

Ladies if you have a Target credit/debit card you can still get the beauty bag. It will be $1.00 and the shipping is free. Go to the Target website and search for "complementary" and it is the first result. I paid a total of $1.03 (with tax). It sucks that we can't get it completely free, but honestly what is $1.00?
Just an FYI I HATE Peach Parfait for that very reason. It was the first one I bought/tried and I instantly regretted it. It's gritty feeling and looks NOTHING like it looks on the model (was it Emma Stone?) in the photos. Different color and different texture, AVOID at all costs! lol

I live in WV. I got the exact same samples as shown above. I love the shampoo and conditioner samples because I can throw them in my gym bag. I only shower there when I go in the morning. It is only a few times a month so I hate needing to carry around big bottles. These are perfect. And the lip butter isn't bad. It is a bit gritty, but I like the formula. I would consider something with a bit less glitter. LOOOOOVE the sunscreen. Super fast absorbing. I don't feel like I'm wearing sunscreen (or smell like it). Haven't tried the scrub yet. But I am looking forward to it. I love the bags. And the best part is I sign up for them and I forget about them. So they are a huge surprise. :)
I have Cotton Candy & Berry Smoothie too! Berry Smoothie is my favorite, and was hard to find in stock anywhere, but I also love Raspberry Pie. For when I want a bit darker pink.

Definitely Berry Smoothie! My peach parfait is pretty glittery, too, but it shows up shimmery on my lips. It IS gritty, and I will wear it, but I will not repurchase.

This is what I got as well. I wish I would have received the Aveeno Scrub because I don't have color treated hair so the shampoo and conditioner doesn't really appeal to me. I'm not that upset that I didn't get the TRESemme conditioner because I already have a sample of it.
I got my bag in the mail with the same things. I was hoping they'd include one full sized item, like the Lip Butter. There's still a lot of little things to take on a vacation though.

Just received mine in the mail today and I was hoping for a full size Lip Butter but I have 3 already :) Lollipop being my absolutely favorite! I love how brown sugar looks on you, I may have to get that one next...overall I am happy with my beauty bag.

YAY!!! I got my Beauty bag in the mail today....apparently several days after most people on the East Coast, but hey, who's complaining??:) My bag is a little different though...I got the Tresemme shampoo but not the conditioner and instead of Aveeno face wash I got a one time use shampoo/conditioner packet of Aveeno Living Color sham/cond for color treated hair...(which I just happen to have, and Ive SO been wanting to try this line of hair products:)) Other than that it's the same...and I am just as pleased as I was when I recieved the Spring Beauty bag...cannot wait til Fall....Lovin me some Target!!:)

I live in California & recently received the exact same items except instead of the Aveeno smart essentials scrub, i got the Aveeno living color preserving shampoo & conditioner. Which is kind of a waste in my case since i don't have color treated hair. but its okay! But on the brighter side... the coupons don't expire until August 31st. (: The last beauty bag i received only gave me 2 weeks til they expired.
Also, the Neutrogena sun block is what I've been using for years so yay for back ups! As well as I've been meaning to try the Tresemme split remedy which btw smells really good so i'm excited to try that out & the beauty bag is so adorable i love the print! (:

I got mine today & I was disappointed. Like someone previously said, I understand & appreciate that it's free, but I wish there were more actual beauty/makeup samples as opposed to hair samples.
The only real "beauty" product was the sample of Revlon's Lip Butter in Peach Parfait & I hated it. It was gritty & had tons of glitter. I do love the actual makeup bag, the Neutrogena SPF70 Sunblock & the coupon book, but I was disappointed by everything else.
I hope Target hears us out & puts more makeup samples in their future beauty bags.

Hopefully this is the right post but it is the end of July and I never received my beauty bag, I am located in southern California. I have the confirmation code and email from them saying that it was on its way. Has this happened to anyone else?
