A HUGE thanks to reader cyndiinphilly for this one! Cyndiinphilly spotted the display for the new Revlon Just Bitten Balm Stains at her local Bed Bath & Beyond was kind enough to share. Check 'em out:

Cyndiinphilly said that these are RETRACTABLE JUMBO PENCILS, just like the Clinique Chubby Sticks (no sharpening required!).
I cannot WAIT to to try these! As most of you know, I love balms, and I love stains, so you can be sure that I'll review some of these in the near future (I will stop at nothing until I find them--I assure you that!).

I'm excited for these, too! I really like the Revlon Just Bitten Stains, I have always loved their lipsticks, and I'm expecting another knockout product from them in the form of a sheer moisturizing color. They are definitely the drugstore lip brand I go to first.
ReplyDeleteI am so eager to find these in my area. And I agree that these will sell like hotcakes. Just look at that picture; it is already quite picked over considering that it is a brand new display.

Oh boy. These look fantastic! It's a good thing I'm looking for new lip products. I didn't love the Just Bitten stains, but I prefer something more moisturizing because my lips chap easily.

ReplyDeleteAccording to the display, she's wearing Lovesick. :) I picked up Smitten and Cherish and they're both just so pretty (NC20 skin). I'll definitely be going back for Lovesick and Romantic next! I found them at both BBB and Target here in Orange County, CA if that helps anyone. Be sure to print out the $2 off coupon for Target, making them $5.79 each! Of course if you use a 20% off coupon at BBB, they're $5.44 each then. :)

ReplyDeleteIf these are anything like the Tarte lipsurgence or liplusters then I will be one happy camper. I LOVE the Tarte ones but at more than 20 bucks a pop they are just not within my college student budget :(

ReplyDeleteThese are awesome! I went and got all 12 colors! They are in fact minty. They remind me of the tarte lipsurgence. They are not glossy, but not matte, and boy do they stain!!! I'm wearing one of the hot pink colors and I can't get it off! I would say that's a good thing! Some of the lighter colors are really light and sheer-ish.

I've never used the Clinique Chubby Sticks, but I've used Tarte Lipsurgence, and if these are good dupes for them, Tarte may be in trouble. ;)

ReplyDeleteI spoke to a cust. rep online via the Revlon chat help. She told me that the balm stains will be in all stores that carry Revlon products by 5/28/12, and that these will be a permanent item! yay!~

ReplyDeleteI just got one yesterday, in Lovesick! I love it. It's not as moisturizing as the Tarte lipsurgence lip lusters but it lasts much longer. The thing I like the best about it (other than the amazing color) is that it doesn't apply in patches to dry lips, like marker-style stains. It glides on like a balm and stays put.

ReplyDeleteSpotted in Westchester NY. I bought "Crush" and it is beautiful. These are very much like Tarte lipsurgence - and MUCH cheaper! I am going to have to go back and get some more!
