What new 2012 drugstore beauty products have you been the most impressed with so far?
This is a tough one for me to answer because I've been testing (and loving) so many new 2012 products over the past few months. Some that really stand out to me are products that I'm currently getting ready to review on this blog: Wet n Wild Megashield Lip Colors, Milani Eye Tech Extreme Liquid Eyeliner and Milani Illuminating Face Powders. I also am really enjoying some products I HAVE reviewed already, such as the new Wet n Wild Megalast polishes, Maybelline Color Tattoos, L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadows, Wet n Wild Bronzers and of course the Revlon Lip Butters. And how can I forget the new Sinful Colors shades? Love those!
Sinful Colors is really making nicer and nicer polishes.
ReplyDeleteSo far, it's Maybelline Color Tattoo for me....
ReplyDeleteThe L'Oreal Infallible eyeshadows and the Maybelline Color Tattoos definitely.
ReplyDeleteI gotta second that! I have almost all shades of the Color Tattoos (didn't really like the orange one) & 6 of the Infallibles (planning on getting more). I'm wearing Pomegranate Punk right now & I've been using the Infallible Iced Latte as a brow/inner corner highlighter nearly everyday since I got it!
DeleteI think Sinful Colors has really been bringing their A game this year.... I am in LOVE with Cinderella and the new castaway collection, I really wish my walgreens would get them in stock!!
ReplyDeleteI love the infallible eyeshadows! I just swipe them onto my eyelids, eyeliner, mascara and I'm done in 5 mins. I really want to collect all of them.
ReplyDeleteIt's my first time posting and I just want to say I really like your blog :D
Physicians Formula Mineral Wear! I recently bought a kit that had 2 Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Correcting Concealers, a Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Correcting Powder and the Talc-Free Mineral Loose Powder. Was very impressed that the product matched my skin tone and did exactly what I hoped it would. I have recently tried to get into this whole makeup thing so it was nice to find a good starting point :)
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your opinion on the Milani Eye Tech Extreme. I've tried it and find it wetter and easier to apply than the Physicians Formula Eye Booster but am not sure if it's as smudge-resistant.
ReplyDeleteugh, these are all products that I really want! I'm getting some of the wet'n'wild products soon though :)
ReplyDeleteSinful Colors polishes and Milani lip flashes.....I love that they brough it back!
ReplyDeleteRevlon Lip Butters!!
ReplyDeleteRevlon 3D High Def Mascara. I've never liked Revlon mascaras but got this almost free with coupons & EC Bucks. Really like the formula. It's wet enough to apply multiple coats but doesn't smudge at all and the brush is easy to handle. Nice separated lashes but with good length & volume.
ReplyDeleteI am loving the Loreal Infallible shadows, the Maybelline Colour Tattoos and Revlon Lip Butters. Sinful Colors gets huge thumbs up for pretty new colours for Spring.
ReplyDeleteI know... More than one product. Sorry, I'm a rebel. :D
Loving the maybelline tattoos.
ReplyDeleteI love the Loreal Infallible shadows and wear the bronze shade at least three days a week. I've also really been loving the Revlon eye primer as an illuminator for eyes and around my mouth. I don't know that it's much of a primer per se, but it really helps brighten and minimize lines without shimmer. I love the lip butters, but I slightly prefer the Loreal balm formula which I find more moisturizing. (and sheerer, which for me is a good thing) Oh, and I'm loving my first flakie from Essie. I wear it to work over nudish shades.
ReplyDeleteThis is a hard one because I recently got back into makeup after a few years of seldom wearing any... so everything is new to me even though it may have come out a couple of years ago. The two that come to mind that I know are new for sure are the Garnier BB cream, and the Maybelline eye tattoos. They have both been really good for me, and I would certainly repurchase.. although I have to say I think the tattoos will last me forever, at least until they dry out.
ReplyDeleteThe Revlon lip butters get my vote! It's the most amazing texture on your lips - exactly like wearing lipstick and gloss together, but in one convenient tube. It's also a great way to try colors in a more subtle way (hot pink, fuchsia and orange). I love that they don't have a scent or flavor too.
ReplyDeleteI'm a fan of the dry shampoo and condition products from TRESemme. However, I'm about to go on a beach vacation and I'm trying to narrow down beach themed nail polish colors from all of your wonderful posts! The Sinful colors look so fun :)
ReplyDeleteMaybelline Color Tattoos in Bad to the Bronze & Tough as Taupe!!! I love them sooo much!
