I'm battling the flu right now and, admittedly, my head's a bit fuzzy. So maybe that's why I'm having such a hard time figuring out the Revlon deal at Walgreens this week (see below). If anyone can set me straight, I'd sure appreciate it.
CVS shoppers:
- All Revlon lip cosmetics are $6.99 with $5 back in Extra Bucks (limit 3). WOW! So basically you can get three Revlon lip colors of your choice (stains, lipsticks, glosses) and roll this over three times. In other words, buy the first one and spend $6.99 out of pocket. Then buy another one with your $5 Extra Bucks and only spend $1.99 out of pocket. Then you'll get ANOTHER $5 in Extra Bucks, which you can turn around to buy another, and again, spend just $1.99 out of pocket. That's three Revlon lip colors for $10.97 (before tax).
Rite Aid shoppers:
- Obviously the best deal of the week is 40% off all Wet n Wild cosmetics. Yay!
- There's also a deal on Revlon foundation, concealer, blush, powder or bronzer that I need to investigate. According to the ad, all of the items I just listed are BOGO1/2OFF this week. But it also says "$3 +UP Reward when you buy any of these Revlon products". Since it doesn't say "$3 +UP when you buy TWO", I believe you'll get a total of $6 +UP Rewards when you buy two of the qualifying items (the limit is 2 on this deal). So let's say you buy two $10 Revlon powders. With the BOGO1/2OFF sale, your total will be $15. But then you'll get $6 +UP Rewards, bringing your total down to $9. That's a great deal, if this is truly how it works. If you try it this week, please come back and let us know if you got $3 +UP for each product!
- FREEBIE ALERT: Rite Aid brand hand sanitizers (8 oz) are $1 with $1 +UP Reward.

- The SaturDate with Beauty ads in the weekly circulars are confusing to me lately. If you look at the ad here, it states that Revlon cosmetics are 40% off and you'll get $3 Register Rewards with a $10 purchase. HOWEVER, I'm not sure if the 40% off deal is going on all week and the Register Rewards deal is ONLY on Saturday 8/27, or if both deals are only good on 8/27. So my best advice is to go to Walgreens during the week and see for yourself. Also, the ad says "Revlon Cosmetics 40% off" but at the top of the ad it says, "Featuring ColorStay Eyehshadows and liners". Does that mean ALL Revlon cosmetics are 40% off and they're just showcasing ColorStay eyeshadows and liners, or does that means it's ONLY ColorStay eyeshadows and liners that will be 40% off?

ReplyDeleteOK I need some nude slip eyeshadow so I called Wags about this. They said that the 40% off sale is for all week; if you want the $3RR you have to buy them on Saturday. I didn't think to ask if that's all Revlon or only the lip and eye stuff, though.

ReplyDeletejust came back from walgreens here in portland, not only is all the revlon stuff 40% off, but the nail polish was a $1 less with card, so the polish comes down to 2.99! and no tax up here, yay!
ReplyDeleteYou do get $6 in up rewards at Rite Aid with the purchase of 2 revlon foundations, etc. I got a photoready and a colorstay and one of the free hand sanitizers for $22 dollars and then got $7 in up rewards. Also, if you spend $10 in revlon cosmetics you can send in for another $3 rebate. That's $11 for two revlon foundations!!!
