The (glorious) return of Soap & Glory

I received this info today and I think it's going to make many of you Soap & Glory fans very happy, considering that this brand is no longer available at Target. And, for the first time ever, we in the US will have access to the ENTIRE range:

 EVERYONE USES SOAP.
(AT LEAST EVERYONE WE LIKE TO SPEND TIME WITH.)

BOLD BRITISH BEAUTY BRAND - SOAP & GLORY – TO BE AVAILABLE EXCLUSIVELY AT SEPHORA.

It’s a British invasion, beauty style.

SOAP & GLORY is set to launch on-shelf (and online) with leading beauty retailer SEPHORA.

Created by suds-loving serial entrepreneur Marcia Kilgore (who kicked-off her career as a celebrity esthetician, who Oprah said gave her the 'best facial' she’d ever had, and who coincidentally started up that spa brand Bliss before creating the footwear company FitFlop), Soap & Glory was conceived as a hobby, before it became the beauty company that bowled over Great Britain.

Known for its unparalleled ability to mix fantastically effective formulations with FUN, Soap & Glory’s headline-getting products include the rather racy SEXY MOTHER PUCKER™ Lip Plumper, the alliterative MAKE YOURSELF YOUTHFUL™ Facial Rejuvenating Serum, and undeniably the world’s best body cream:  THE RIGHTEOUS BUTTER™. Predicted to be another hit? THE FAB PORE Facial Peel, a 15-minute micro-peeling face mask.  “Americans are the cleanest people on the planet, and with a partner like Sephora, we’re now poised to play a big part in keeping them that way.”

Now signed up with leading beauty retailer Sephora in the United States (who’ll offer the full range of Soap & Glory’s bath, beauty, skincare and (of course) famous lip plumping products online mid-August and in-store in September), Soap & Glory is set to re-enact the British invasion, beauty-style, while promoting its brand of good mood-enhancing humour.

“We are so excited to launch this UK hit exclusively at Sephora this Fall,” says Priya Venkatesh, Sephora’s VP/DMM Skincare. “Soap & Glory is truly representative of Marcia’s warmth, wit and charm, and denotes a wonderful ‘feel good’ factor. It is also entertaining, high quality, and affordable – all attributes we know our clients will embrace. Launching the brand in the Fall with a strong gift assortment will enable our clients to quickly become as enchanted with the brand as we are.”

This is the first time the entire range of products will be available on US soil – much to the relief of beauty fans (and dumbfounding of airlines at the sudden, unexplained drop in beauty dashes ‘across the Pond’). Ultra-effective at affordable prices, Soap & Glory products are set to sweep the States and leave everyone softer, scented, and a darn sight more sociable in their wake.

Soap & Glory will be available in 101 Sephora USA stores by September 16th, and online at sephora.com by August 16th, 2011. New launches include Face, Soap & Clarity, Clear Here, Make Yourself Youthful Eye Cream plus the new formula Super Color Sexy Mother Pucker.

Soap & Glory has been supporting the Clean of England since 2006, when founder – suds-loving serial entrepreneur Marcia Kilgore (who kicked-off her career giving facials to the likes of Demi, Uma  and Oprah, and started up that big spa company Bliss) moved to the UK and used her cosmetic chemistry savvy to introduce fun, fearless, and fantastically-formulated bath, beauty, and body products to the British. Within weeks of launch, the word – and the gloss – on everybody’s lips was Soap & Glory’s (now iconic) super-plumping Sexy Mother Pucker™.  Then one better: The Righteous Butter™ Body Butter was voted Britain’s Best Body Butter.  The bar was set.  And everything that followed was brilliant. Soap & Glory recommends applying products with happiness and abandon, because while beauty absolutely matters, it doesn’t matter absolutely.
