Group review #2: Nivea Lotion

I absolutely LOVED reading all of your reviews of the Neutogena Lip Balm that (most of us) received in our Target Beauty Sample Bags. So let's try this again, only this time I'd love to hear what you thought of the sample bottles of Nivea lotion that were also included in the bag.

I realize that some of you got sample bottles of Nivea Happy Sensation Body Lotion:

While others received samples bottles of Nivea Express Hydration Daily Lotion in the Sea Minerals and Lotus Flower Scent:

    I received the happy lotion, Love it!! I got sunburned this weekend and have been using it to keep moist haha =]

    My bag contained the Express Hydration lotion. It's nice, a rather light fragrance, which I like, but not quite moisturizing enough for my personal preference. I can see it being a good lightweight, summer lotion, though!

    I received the Nivea Express Hydration Daily Lotion in the Sea Minerals and Lotus Flower Scent. I love it! The lotion absorbs quickly and has really helped my very dry feet. The scent upon first applying is not my favorite, but once it dries, it is lovely.

    I received the Nivea Express Hydration Daily Lotion Sea Minerals & Lotus Flower scent. It's a lightweight lotion & not suitable for my ultra dry skin. Would be better suited for those folks that don't have ultra rough dry skin. It's got a light, non lingering scent that actually didn't give me a migraine! I am sooooo sensitive to scent. I mostly use unscented creams. The scent has a light, crisp, summery fragrance. :) If it was formulated into a thicker cream I'd be all over it. hehe ;)

    I received the express hydration and my skin did not react well. It had a kind of burning sensation on my skin; it's probably due to the methylisothiazolinone which is a known irritant.

    I received the Express Hydration and I love it!! It absorbs quickly, and is not greasy. It could be a little more moisturizing. But, I like that it is not heavy.

    I got the Express Hydration, and I love it! It's perfect for me now. My skin's not severely wintertime dry, but in a sort of transition mode, if that makes sense? This soaks in quickly, and I love the scent (AND the scent doesn't bother me, which is always nice). I will be picking up a full bottle when I'm out of my other lotions.

    I received the Express Hydration. I like it as a hand cream which works out because it's perfect purse size. But I still love the original Nivea the most. It smells so clean and is so moisturizing! I didn't like the Happy Sensation at all.

    I got the Express Hydration. I wash my hands a lot at work, so they dry out quickly, and this makes my hands feel better without getting super greasy. I didn't like the scent, but that's probably just because I'm not a big fan of florals. It's definitely not as strong as other lotions I've tried, so all in all it's not too bad.

    I got the Express Hydration lotion in my bag. I actually really enjoyed the scent. I liked how it felt going on and how fast it absorbed, but I would have liked it to be a bit more moisturizing, as others have said. It would be a perfect moisturizer for summer months, I think! I think they sold me on this one!

    I received the Express Hydration and I absolutely love it! Im glad I received it because I will now definitely purchase a full size once I get through my current moisturizer. Its not a thick lotion by any means which isn't a problem for me because I do have soft skin,(I've been moisturizing everyday for years and never had any dry skin issues) but it definitely does the job for me and because it isn't think it absorbs quickly into my skin.
    My favorite part is the scent. It's a very fresh, clean type of smell.. and well this may sound weird but it smells very lightly like a male fragrance lol. To my nose it just very lightly smells like what a clean man would smell like and I mean this is in the best way possible!

    I got the Express Hydration as well and I also really like it - I like that it absorbs quickly. You don't really need a ton of this. The smell vaguely reminds me of the old Water Blossom Ivy smell from BBW, which was one of my faves back in the day, so I kind of like that this smells like that. Nice and fresh and not greasy but moisturizing. It works.

    I got Express Hydration. I like it. It's a light floral. I agree with an earlier poster that this could be a unisex scent. It will work for the warmer months but it won't stand a chance aganist a real winter.

    I receieved the Express Hydration in my sample bag. I actually really do like it. It's quite moisurizing without giving you that greasy feeling. The smell reminds me of Pantene shampoo.

    I received the Express Hydration lotion. I love, love, love the scent, and I love that it absorbs quickly. It is definitely not going to be moisturizing enough for those with very dry skin, but it's going to be a great lotion for me for the summer. Goes on so quickly after a shower!

    I received the express hydration in sea minerals, lotus flower scent and I really liked the texture of the cream but I wasn't fond of the smell. It smells familiar to me something from Bath and Body Works perhaps. When I first put the cream on my arm it was fine, but over time the scent bothered me. Maybe I will try and find it in another scent.

    I really like this lotion (I received the express hydration). I thought it smelled nice and absorbed quickly. Although mine did leak a little, which im not really surprised about since my box looked like it had been kicked around haha but I saw a comment left on one of your other posts that said she had an empty box delivered to her? So I guess I cant really complain lol
